what ordinance(s) did you choose?

While I was tempted for beautiful, I did night owl because it makes more sense as I tend to be playing late.

Something I really like is how in New Leaf almost everyone had the beautiful town ordinance out of.. necessity. Like if you didn't want a disgusting town and flowers to die you kind of had to chose it. Where as in NH with flowers that never wilt and weeds that, to be honest, don't inconvenience me.. I felt like I actually had the chance to chose one that I liked instead of 'oh I guess Ill chose beautiful because I dont want an ugly town'
Im really happy now my town can be pretty AND active at night <3

I'm not sure which one I will pick to be honest. Beautiful isn't that useful this time around.

Night Owl and Early Bird are neat but I'm fine with the normal times shops open/close and when villagers are up. I used to greatly benefit from Night Owl but work has me going to bed early anymore and I don't have time to play before I leave in the mornings.

I've never had any interest in Bell Boom in general.

I might go for Beautiful only for avoiding cockroaches and weeds for when I take breaks from playing, but for now I'm just gonna roll with no ordinance until I decide for sure.

Went for the Beautiful Island ordinance, though I may change it to Night Owl at some point.

Early bird for me. I mostly play during morning, so having shops opening a bit earlier would be nice

I haven't done it yet, but I will be picking nightowl for my main island and bell boom for my 2nd island. I don't get on til after 9pm so, I always miss Able's.

Beautiful island until I can get the fishing achievement (too much trash interferes with that one), then I'll be switching to Night owl.

Early bird. I get up at 4am and even a single hour of opening earlier is a real frustration saver.

Night owl because of my afternoon into evening shift. I work from 1pm - 9:30pm and usually find myself awake until 2am.

It just improves QOL instead of freaking out about nooks closing 30 mins before my shift ends

I chose the beautiful ordinance, but then immediately realised I wanted no ordinance, but it was too late.

I don't want the early bird/night owl ordinances because I enjoy the varied times I see villagers. Even if I'm up at 6 am, there's no way I'm seeing Agnes before 10 am. I sort of like how it fits with their personality.

In new leaf i went with beautiful as in that title the flowers would die. I didnt see much point of it in new horizons so i just chose night owl, Even tho i think it just makes shops shut a hour later.

I haven't picked one yet but I'm leaning towards night owl since I tend to play later at night anyway, and I can't see any of the others giving that significant of a boost to my gameplay

If I select an ordinance other than beautiful will my flowers wilt? Or does the beautiful ordinance only effect weeds?

As others mentioned, be careful with beautiful town— your flowers will multiply like crazy. Sadly, Leif does not have a flower removal service :/

Thanks for pointing this out. I already feel like my flowers multiply too much so I won't be going for this one.

I went with the Night Owl ordinance. It just makes the most sense for me since I usually play in the evening or at night~
