Salmonid Smokeyard is my favourite but that's not one of the poll options and I accidentally clicked Spawning Grounds
I guess that is the next best one for me. I think each map has its pros and cons, but as someone who grinds freelance more often than doing organised quads, I found that Salmonid Smokeyard is immensely easier to make quota and survive over the rest. The platforms are easier to shoot/manuever than the lifts on Marooner's bay and are super convenient to quickly move around the map whereas Marooner's bay can get really bad really fast if you stay too long on the bottom of the ship. Flyfish spawn points are easy on SS because of the elevation. I would say it's the hardest high tide map but I still think it's the most fun high tide map lolol.
Marooners Bay - Hard to make quota, hard to deal with stingers on normal tide. Probably the easiest night modes for me overall (my favourite to goldie seek). My favourite low tide map (who doesn't love jumping off the boat?)
Ark Polaris - Hard to make quota unless you do proper luring, easy to deal with stingers but rarely does this happen in freelance. Best high tide map for large egg quota. Hardest goldie seeking.
Lost Outpost - Overall kind of hard because of the "funbox" but surprisingly easy to make quota if you can survive and deal with stinger/rain etc. Also find the flyfish spawn locations to be the most annoying for some reason, but maybe that's because I don't play it enough to get used to it. Also the windows have an annoying thickness to it that makes me not like using it.
Spawning Grounds - Second hardest high tide imo but overall it's a pretty easy map to get around. Don't have much to say about this map because it's just okay overall and the gimmicks for aren't too difficult to get used to compared to the others I feel.
Those are just my opinions! I kinda don't mind all of them as long as the weapons are good but I find myself skipping Marooner's Bay the most heh.
