What social media do you use regularly?

Only YouTube, I suppose, but I rarely comment.

I've tried to get into many different platforms over the years, but I just can't. They're overstimulating and sketchy! šŸ˜

YouTube. Sometimes I would join the toxic comments for the lulz...

Reddit. Sometimes I would create controversial unpopular opinions and get all the downvotes just for the lulz...

I use this forum regularly too, of course, if it counts as a social media... :giggle:

Facebook, Instagram (not as much as I used to, though), Snapchat... hmm. Does Discord count, or no? I use Discord A LOT.

I also use YouTube from time to time, but it's hard for me to sit and watch videos nowadays, lol. Trying to get back into using the forums here, if that counts! ^^

I'm uncertain of where the line is for social media, but I do split up what I use for my real-life self and what I have for "StarlitGlitch" to interact with Internet randos.

I limit the amount of time on my real-life account, it gives me anxiety. Recently I'm starting to cut out Twitter and I uninstalled YT on my phone to try to see if it makes me feel better.

instagram and snapchat

havent been able to get into my accounts for a while but oh well. not really the end of the world

I am mainly on tik tok, not to post, but just to watch. I also use Instagram, but I don't scroll through my feed anymore or watch stories as I found it got really draining and made me feel bad when I saw everyone else's post, so I only use it to post my own photos.

I donā€™t use any social media. Sometimes Iā€˜ll watch a YouTube video, and thatā€™s it.

I have Facebook, which I don't use besides lurking and checking out stuff. Discord, the same as Facebook. As for Twitter, I do post stuff here and there on it, but other than that, I just lurk on it.

Been using tumblr since 2014, but grew too addicted and deleted my acc recently. Now on my new acc I'm silent, just post gifs I make and barely follow people so I reduce my screentime on it.
I don't like twttier, but I got a gimmick account and people on it are nice, so I log in twice daily or so for a bit. On my main I only follow artists, but since I decided to be silent on tumblr I talk now on it :'p Luckly since it's locked and barely get followers I dont get much engagement (and so I dont become stuck on it)
I'm not sure if neocities counts as social media? But I have one and love visiting other people's webpages. I'm often too lazy to keep coding my own tho.
And um.. I check youtube once per week maybe? But it's either to watch cooking or art videos.

I look at Twitter frequently but only for those accounts that tell me when Amiibos go instock. I use Instagram to look at cute scenes and how people are taking care of plants! I use Reddit sometimes but not often other than for the "are amiibos in stock?." I use YouTube alot because I love watching baking and cooking shows like the Tasty Recipes channel.

Reddit, YouTube, Twitch (if that counts) and Twitter. Twitter I try to limit use on the most for obvious reasons. I use an extension that blocks the trending section on the right to make it more bearable.

To be honest, I try to stay away from social media. I've tried to join some pagan groups on Facebook, but was never really welcomed because of the way I practiced magic. Tumblr was crap because I got kicked out of Discord group for not avoiding cultural appropriation u_u. Social media has been mostly toxic for me than helpful. I do stay on Facebook another forum site for RP. That's pretty much it. Please, be careful regarding social media. Stay safe, everyone.

The main reason I deleted my social media was because of the toxicity. The only one I use now is Snapchat and thatā€™s only for my close friends since it has my real name and I sometimes post personal stuff when I do. I find Facebook to be the most toxic and Iā€™ve been so much happier since I havenā€™t been using it.

I only really use Youtube, Discord, and a few forums. I also occasionally look at writing subreddits but I don't ever post there.

Twitter and TikTok are the main ones as I run a few fan sites and they are the ones that most followers interact with. šŸ™‚

I only use YouTube for entertainment, pinterest for memes and wallpapers, and this site on actually being active on.

None unless you count Discord. Never had a Facebook, I donā€™t even lurk Twitter, I only lurk Reddit rarely. It isnā€™t really for socialising but I use YouTube, just donā€™t post a lot and I donā€™t post my own videos.

These days I find myself using the Internet less and less- I miss classic-style forums like this one, there are so few of them compared to years ago, but thatā€™s another debate. The social media I could keep up with more often donā€™t feel worth my time (like whatā€™s the point in having Instagram or Pinterest if I donā€™t want to engage and post myself), the big ones just sound like drama as far as Iā€™m concerned (I can just search images to find fanart lol), Iā€™m not even very active on Discord because Iā€™m anxious regardless of those things. I am definitely more of a lurker than a contributor but s long as I have a few close friends Iā€™m happier that way.

Edit: unpopular opinion, but since someone else mentioned it, tumblr is pretty okay by me. I donā€™t have an account there, but I find it pretty fascinating to lurk if nothing else, and to be honest itā€™s better for finding organised info than something like Reddit. As long as you arenā€™t following links to dead accounts. There are some classic net vibes there. A lot of it is a time capsule and it has more personality than other sites.
