I've been thinking about it for a bit and there is one villager that might cause me to reset. Charlise. I just don't like her and she has followed me to every town I've had. I don't know what it is about her. There is just something about her that rubs me the wrong way.
i would like to say i wouldn't reset no matter who i got... but truth be told, if i got that ugly mouse with stubble or anyone else who is very ugly, there is a chance that i will reset. no way i'm spending my time alone on the island with two super uglies.
Imagine having a list of 65+ villagers you would reset your game over.
I personally wouldn't reset if I saw anyone because it's just a chance to get new villagers that I may end up liking. and if I end up not liking them, I can deal with that later on, lol.
I?ve been thinking about it again. I really don?t want to reset?I want a ?natural? game because I believe that?ll give me a richer experience all round.
But with the starters, it?s not about being able to accept whoever I get. I know that I could accept every villager, no matter how awful. The thing is that I want to like them.
If I?m not able to like them, that?ll take away from the experience more than resetting a few times. I want to to enjoy building the Island with them. I ideally want to keep one or both of them forever. If I get ones I can?t see myself feeling that way about, it?ll really impact my immersion in the story. I?ll miss out on that element of the story, and just make due until I get other villagers I like better. That just seems disappointing.
So I?ll reset until I get at least one that I like.
I don't really like resetting in Animal Crossing, but if I did have to reset, I wouldn't like Katt or Wart Jr. Those two never really appealed to me in the last game, but if I do end up getting one of them, I'm just going to have to learn to like them. I want to love all villagers and not hate anyone. So yeah, I won't reset, even if I got one of those two.
I've never reset for villagers during the map stage. I always thought that was going a bit too far especially since those villagers move out eventually anyways. So I wont reset for villagers in NH either! With the ease of moving villagers around and reserving plots, I plan on meeting tons of new villagers and letting them live on the island and come and go as they please. I actually thought it might be neat if I set up an area specifically for "temporary" visiting villagers who I don't intend on keeping very long.
i don't really have any dreamies at the minute, so i'm just going to accept whoever i end up with unless they're UGLY ugly. besides, the starting part of the game will probably be spent getting used to it, so i probably won't think about them much anyway
I've previously said I wouldn't reset for starting villagers, but if someone like Katt comes running out of the plane with me, I'm hitting that off button.
I would reset to get rid of Diva and Jambette. If I get a really good map and fruit then I won’t reset but will put their tent in the furthest corner until I can get rid of them using amiibo cards. I’m not fond of gorillas and hippos either but I can handle them for a while.
