What type of areas do you have on your island?

I am trying to gather some inspiration and ideas for my island. Screen shots are appreciative. So far my ideas include

A community area:
Bonfire, bbq, seating areas, picnic tables ect......

A orchard:
At least 4 to 5 of each fruit tree. Just missing oranges

A nursury:
Hybrid breeding and flower growing area.

A Oasis: (my islands name sake)
A tropical senic area of my island surrounded by nature and Water and water falls. Lots or picture areas.

And thats about it so far.

Of and some sort of walking trail to connect the villages houses thar will be tucked away and hidden kn the mountians and such.

TBH, I'm still terraforming my island so I don't have much ready besides the neighborhood, my home, and the town square finished.

I also just restarted my island, I am going for the natural look. I just unlocked the terraforming and having a mental block lol I can't think of anything to do with my new island now lol. I was thinking of doing the following

It is definitely something I have slowly been building on here n there. ^^; Several parts do still have to tweaks needed. but I am happy.
Once the rumor air has been cleared about "quietly leaving" possibly causing a rare glitch that erases save data, I'll start opening my island again for visitors to just roam. =3

My main advice for anyone is, dont be scared to scrap your design to redo it.
Yesterday I completely torn down my bamboo forest to add a small forced perspective spot then remade the forest. I love the change I made now that I am done.Today I tore down my outdoor spa half way and built it back up more.
My "orchard" had moved around my entire map (... no really...) before I finally found its home. Lmao
Yeah, reterraforming is a pain... but just remember if you change it and hate it, you can always change it back. =p

Oh goodness how many times I have condensed things from running out of space. XP

In my signature I have a link to my permanent thread for when I do open island or games/events. I recommend adding the thread to your watch list to see when I open it back up. =p
I just stopped for a bit due to a rumor of there being a rare glitch from others "leaving quietly" possibly corrupting save files of hosts... not sure if that ever got confirmed or if it was, if it got patched. But the mere idea of it being a possibility has made me want to wait to open back up...

Right now, I have a residential district, an area for the museum and shops and the rest is forest. My fruit trees are randomly scattered on the lowest level while other trees are on my cliffs. I think I will make the campsite area on the cliffs near the river

ahh this thread has so many good ideas! my island is still a work in progress (which means that everyone's posts above are super helpful, aha), but i currently have a castle, a shopping district, a hybrid garden, and a residential area. i hope to include a french garden, a cemetery, and a little hidden area for black market dealings o: i'd also like to add a casino, too, although i'm not sure if i'll be able to create one i'll be happy with considering the restrictive incline limit ;w;

Right now Bella has:

• An outdoor market
• An outdoor concert venue
• A relaxing beach area with beach towels and a picnic area.
• A small playground for kids
• A clifftop hot springs area that looks so awesome during sakura season
• An welcome area outside the airport with a crafting table and some seating.
• I don't know if these would qualify as areas, but there's a lighthouse and a Godzilla statue.

What I'm currently working on:

• A tiki bar area beside the pier
• making the small island with the campsite on it more outdoorsy.
• A relaxation area on the secret beach.
• Something cool to put on that large flat rock jutting out of the northern part of the island. I really don't know what to do yet. I'm thinking about doing a secret UFO research area with those parabolic antennae and some simple panels for walls or a spooky graveyard. I'm not really sure though.
