The housing market is a mess and the ability to own my own home seems far away but I still like to look through houses for sale and daydream ! My dream home would be a small farmhouse style with hardwood floors, white wooden walls, and lots of natural light. I've always thought it'd be neat to have a little mudroom to put shoes and a place on the wall where we could mark our heights. I'd fill it with nautical things, pieces of art, plants, and candles and lamps and other little lights. I'd also love to have a big tree and a tree swing!

I love small, single-floor ranch style homes. also, you know how you go to your grandparent's house and it has that somewhat cluttered but cozy vibe? yeah that's basically my dream home hehe. 💗

I would love to live somewhere surrounded by nature, with a huge backyard garden that has a waterfall in it. I don't care too much about the interior of the house as long as it's cozy & homey (I'm not a fan of modern designs).

I would love a two story house with a finished basement and attic. The basement walls and wall-to-wall would be (hear me out) light beige, and or yellow with neutral decor. Most of the rest of the house would be much more colorful and cluttered but in a neat and purposeful way. Maybe a couple more neutral rooms but nothing completely beige. Any kids rooms will definitely incorporate color. But yeah, for the most part, I want to have cute stuff all over. And I’d want the exterior to be colorful as possible, and look like a playhouse ^^ Some sort of loft thing would be cool as well. anyway, that was kind of a stream of consciousness hehe but I love thinking about it!

I would honestly be fine with a mostly empty room and a TV. Maybe a small shelf for the few pieces of merchandise I own.

I'm rather minimalist and it doesn't take much for me to feel content.

I'd be content with a studio apartment. I'd have a futon and maybe a desk for my laptop. There'd be a few wall decorations, but nothing too crazy.

I don’t know if I’ll ever be in a relationship since I’ve been single my whole life and I don’t ever want to have kids, so I’d just want to live in a 1,000 square foot two bedroom house. It would have easy access to public transport and be within walking distance of some stores, restaurants, and a library. It would have both air conditioning and indoor heating. One room would be my bedroom and the other room would be a library for all of my books, video games, and music albums.

Honestly I would love to live in a fancy apartment. My dream is to live alone and I grew up living in apartments so apartments have always felt super comfortable for me, especially the less people that live in a single unit.

I kind of like where I already live to be honest. It's rural, but not so far out that there isn't any sigh of civilization. I have a little bit of land to do whatever I want with gardens, trees, plants ect and it's full of forest and fields. It's very pretty. I would just like to fix up some rooms so it really feels like my house and I have room to do the things I really want to do.

Like fix up my basement so it's not some really grungy wet unfinished basement where I do lots of projects, art, and exercise. I deal with it, but it's kinda gross and depressing like a dungeon.

I pretty much have my dream house. Only changes I’d make are adding another room or two, a garbage disposal and a dishwasher, and another bathroom. But I’m happy with how my house is now. I can live without what I’d change. Having only one bathroom is a bit annoying as it is on the second floor.

i’m no where close to moving out but my dream home would be a medium sized house close to my family, with a home office and an enclosed porch where i can put all my plants.

The only thing I know I want in a dream home is to have a room painted each colour of the rainbow! 🌈
Though it would take me forever to decide which room should be painted which colour 😅

Also, a pre-existing catio would be nice 😆

i'm not even sure, tbh. 2 bedrooms at least, one for sleep and the other one for an office. i'd like a nice bathtub, like a garden tub or something. i don't care about having a lawn or not. i'd also like it to be somewhere accessible, like inside of a city with good transit options. those inner city brownstones are cute.

I would love to live in a Swiss-inspired home with a chalet design with lattice fencing, with a windmill surrounded by tulips. I'd also have cabin-themed furniture with a fireplace. My dream home would also have nautical-themed decorations everywhere.

I don't like modern designs, I prefer designs that are genuinely vintage from a really long time ago, not ones that were made today to look vintage.

I don't care how many rooms I get, but I'd still love to be able to have a large house.

I want a lazy river around the perimeter of my property. I also want a dirt bike track in the backyard. One of the side yards can be an outdoor gun range. The other side yard can be a pool with a big water slide.

It would ideally be small enough to house two people (me and my partner) and maybe some cats. I would also like it to be somewhere close to nature.
