since 2.0 dropped i've got a massive animal crossing kick, and i was wondering whats a good way to stay active in the community? i've been thinking about making friends on this game and i think it'll help me wanna come back to it more knowing i have lots of people to talk to n stuff lmao

I've never really made friends on here but its always nice when people check on nooks cranny to see if they can help anyone out on the LF threads. giveaways are also always appreciated and a way to make tbt. I think what makes this community really great is that people are willing to help without asking for things in return, so I guess that's a way to be active?

Animal Crossing discords are usually pretty fun! Every social media site I've been on has had some form of an Animal Crossing group or community so it's good to look into those.

i thing although small that i adore is sending mail and receiving mail randomly, some are cute others are funny, wierd or even villager type of logic which are hilarious. I like having ACNH friends and sometimes visiting over have coffee, see whats changed or their villager homes deco and use discord so its not so tedious

I don't really do online in NH, but you can do giveaway events, catalog party, mini-games, etc.

I don't really have friends on the game either. Real life people actually. My mom, best friends. They're the only ones I actually play with. Which is kind of a shame, because it really is fun to just hang out together, check out one another's islands, see all the new stuff. But my island is pretty bland/boring most of the time. Just very standard/natural looking with seasonal decor all about. Just coming onto the forums, reading stuff and posting is the way I keep active. You know when I'm in a lull because I won't be on here... it's why I wasn't around much in October, and even less so in November.

You posting this in the first place is being active in the community !! Keep doing that :D You can be passively active, if that even makes sense ?!?! Just reading the threads, even if you don't post, is being part of it ... The nature of video games is such that any friends you may make in-game can be fair-weather ones ... Don't take it personally if someone you visit once never shows up online again, or vice versa ... And you can always interact with the community online while you're actually playing yourself ...
