What's Bothering You?

I know my crew will be able to pull ourselves from dead last, but I can’t be the only one who feels sorta at-fault for it. I can’t participate in the gaming sessions because I don’t have NSO, I haven’t finished my passport yet, and I’m terrible with this no-clue egg hunt. It just feels like I’m dead weight even though I’m trying to put an effort to be active in the camp event.

Hopefully more events will pop up that we can participate in! I can't do the gaming sessions because of timezone differences and working on the passport, but I'm sure more events will allow for more for us participate in

this is actually a random thought, but does anyone else have parents who just randomly walk into your room whenever they feel like it? like you constantly have to be listening for them so that if you hear them coming you're prepared to deal with them and you have to hurry and put away personal things? and then if you want full privacy and lock your door, they get really upset and offended? or do yall actually live in normal families haha

it's actually pretty terrible how much privacy I lack. if I try to keep things private my mom accuses me of being secretive. I also struggle to hold conversations in private for the same reason. and as I mentioned before she gets mad when my door is locked so she can't just walk in whenever. I really can't win.

my door is closed all the time, but unfortunately that doesn’t deter my parents. my dad thankfully knocks 99% of the time, but my mom tends to just barge in— including when i’m sleeping i can hear her coming most of the time when i’m awake, but there’s been times where i haven’t, and her just flinging open my door startles me. my door doesn’t have a lock, so i can’t really do anything about it unless i feel like barricading my door lol

I’m pretty sure one of my friends blocked me. My last two iMessage texts were green and says “sent as text message.” Honestly, it doesn’t 100% mean blocked but I didn’t think we were on bad terms? She said last night she was excited to see me today but she called off sick. I tried texting her I hope she feels better, and yeah, it’s green. I sent another text two hours later and that one is also green even though they used to be blue.

It’s not bothering me as much as I thought it would be but it is confusing. I thought we were okay? She got into an argument with someone else a few days ago after a misunderstanding on her part so I’m wondering if she took something I said out of context. Her last text to me was very sweet, so I’m just confused about the whole thing. I don’t think I’ll have closure until I see her again which won’t be until Friday.

Elon Musk changed Twitter to X. That's it. The logo is no longer a blue bird but just some very generic looking X. I don't really care about Twitter, but the site had it's own well known logo and terms like tweets/retweets. He changed it all and now it looks like it's some office supplies store or tech center from the early 2000s with it's uninspired logo.

This just proves Elon Musk has no taste. Twitter was a site I stayed away from but it was still recognizable. RIP twitter bird, I doubt this will get more people to use the site.

Although I was never a member of Twitter, it has not been the same since Elon Musk taken over. I heard that it got even more toxic (it always was, but it was never littered with hate speech like it did since last October). Musk also changed from an honorable entrepreneur to a disgrace.

I think I’m going to give up hope on my New Leaf and Wild World town because my dad really just isn’t getting me a new 3DS no matter how much I say playing the game is important. Even though there’s the fact that New Leaf has a ****ing year’s worth of data he just doesn’t care and thinks I think about it too much and “there’s more to life than video games”. I already know that, but what the hell am I supposed to do about my ****ing towns? I’m not thinking about the game too much, I’m just actually thinking about my town and I actually care about my game. Sorry for seeming so mad, but I just had to let it out
