I don?t have much that bothers me, but there?s one thing that really gets under my skin. The misuse of mental disorders to explain how you?re feeling, I can?t stand it. When people say they?re so OCD about something because they have it organized or saying they?re bipolar because they changed moods. Those things seriously can stop me from ever wanting to talk to that person lol. Just thought about this bsxahse someone said this on the threads when I was looking.

What about you guys? What bothers you?

I understand your viewpoint on that subject. For example: a lot of people say they have anxiety at my university, but if they did they wouldn't even be there at the moment like it's nothing. I have anxiety attacks which actually prevent me from showing up or even leaving my home. It doesn't even come from panicking about something. It can be triggered by thinking too much about something that I don't like (such as hot and humid weather).

What bothers me though? Bad drivers. I'm a polite and kind person; I love to help people. But, when I'm on the road and someone is driving like an idiot then I can get quite angry. I hate when I get like that. It makes me not want to drive.

I’m so sorry you have to deal with that at school! I hope it stops so that you don’t have to ever feel anxious because of how they’re talking.
Bad drivers.. Yes. Completely. Don’t we all have to learn how to drive? How do people forget all the rules when they’re actually driving?!!

When people act depressed all the time and just seek out attention. Like I get some people do deal with depression and have trouble fighting, but when you milk it and just want others to through pity parties all the time, it gets old fast. And then when you don't like hanging with said person anymore, they play the victim card.

Inconsideration is one that's been popping up frequently for me as of late.

Many things, but won't go on a rant. But right now, it's people purposely bringing others down because they feel down.

*crawls out of the sewer like i do every time i see a thread like this* i am full of anger

> anti-recovery/"depression is cool" culture
> guilt trippers
> ignorance
> people who refuse to admit they're wrong
> people who ghost you instead of manning up and telling you
> cockroaches, fleas, and carpet beetles
> people who make their political beliefs/gender/sexuality/mental illness their whole personality
> due to a recent internet drama i'm not going into, animal and child abusers have been irking me an ungodly amount lately
humanity is disgusting tbh

At the moment:
- Transphobic jerks
- men that give me a thumbs up when I kiss my girlfriend in public because they think it's hot... Ugh!!

I would say that the romanticism of depression and other mental illnesses really bothers me. It's done way too much online, and it honestly makes me feel sick. Hope this isn't too controversial.

There are many things that bother me, but what bothers me the most is when people try to undermine me or my feelings. It's as if I don't have a right to feel that way about a situation. It also bothers me a lot when people try to one-up me when I'm talking about things that upset me. For example "It could always be worse! When I was dealing with blah blah it was way worse than you!"

Feelings are relative. What one person can take, another person may not be able to. Please have compassion for others and don't brush them off as faking their feelings <3

I agree with the OP, I hate when people say they're "so OCD" about something. OCD or any mental illness can already be hard to understand, and it doesn't help the surrounding stigma for people to stereotype it or use the term so casually. I have OCD and it doesn't even bother me if my desk is unorganized or whatever, but I bet half the population would believe otherwise unfortunately.

Other things that bother me:
-Racism/homophobia/transphobia/etc
-People blowing their nose/sneezing into their hands and not washing their hands
-People touching food without washing their hands
-People not respecting mental illness
-Rude people/people who use others/abuse others/etc
-People talking over me or dismissing my feelings, because I rarely talk/express things so if I do and it gets dismissed I'm like why do I even try
-Probably more but that's it for now

People who try to talk in a fashion to make it sound like they’re some slick or cool person (see this a lot online nowadays). Basically people who think too highly of themselves. Humbleness is a very underrated value nowadays. :)

People who defend their family no matter what. Like, come on, just because they are your parents doesn't men they can't do wrong. Seriously.

Also people who hate on others and makes fun/irony/sarcasm over it like 24*7. Like okay you are wasting your time when you don't even tell them why you hate them and just try acting a cool teenager about it lol.

I GET SO MANY PIMPLES AND ILL GET ONES THAT POP UP ON THE SIDE OF MY MOUTH AND THEY HURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree w u. Family isnt the people you share DNA with, its the ppl who you have the strongest bonds with. One of my favorite phrases is "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb"

Lack of empathy is a pretty big thing for me! I agree with a lot of other responses on this thread though haha

Right now what I've noticed is bothering me a lot is people who use other people, or people who purposely seek out attention.

It really doesn't help that I never get lonely and just really cannot relate lmao
