In my Korean family, grandma would make the best Seolleongtang. This dish is called ox bone soup in English. Pretty much, anything grandma made tastes great but this dish is my favorite!
Stew. Stew is the one thing my mom is good at making. It's best when it's winter or if I have a cold, it's so delicious with potatoes and onions and leek in a gravy soup, its so goooooooooooooood
For me, it’s spaghetti & meatballs with garlic knot rolls. I really miss them when I went over to my grandparent’s place, and the whole situation going on is making that impossible.
it’s so simple, but my mom’s meatloaf is to die for - i’ve seen a lot of recipes and pictures of meatloaf over the years and while seemingly delicious, i know none of them will ever compare to my mother’s.
and while also simple, home cooked spaghetti and meatballs? would willingly eat that everyday for the rest of my life
I love my mom's cooking, but her standouts are Taiwanese braised beef (sooo good on rice and noodles), minced pork rice, dumplings, and scallion pancakes. She also makes a yummy spaghetti, which I can't replicate even though I follow the steps as closely as I can. XD Welp, now I've made myself hungry...
