What's your favorite instrument to play/listen to?

I currently don't play any instruments but I'd love to learn the bass guitar one day, that ones probably my favourite.

first instrument i played was the recorder and that was the last instrument i played as well since it was required for my music class back in school. i failed very badly though if i remember correctly. i hate playing instruments. favorite instruments to listen to is the acoustic guitar i guess.

It has certainly become the oboe, for both. One probably looks at my avatar/signature and goes "What?". I'm quite the mess. I fell in love with it many years back, before I even played the bassoon. In reality, I tend to like hearing the oboe more than the bassoon or saxophone in general. Last year I finally got inspired to really play it, because of how expressive it is. I found a teacher and learned, and I really love it.

Now I'm going back to school, and for fun, I'm learning to record. It's so fun!

I like violin, piano, and guitar, particularly acoustic. A good electric bass melody will also stand out to me but I think I like that better with other instruments than on its own.

I don't play any but I wish I did!

The only instrument I play is the drums ^-^ I tried playing an acoustic guitar once as my dad plays it, but it just wasn't for me.

I played the trumpet, piano, violin, guitar, and a couple other instruments.

Honestly I really like listening to harps. Very old-fashioned

Piano & saxophone!! It's keep me feel relaxed?especially when it's play ballad's songs <3

the first and only instrument ive played was the flute, but i REALLY want to learn how to play the saxophone or the violin

I play or have played the guitar, the flute, the piano, the drums, the violin, the koto, and the hammered dulcimer.

I prefer to listen to string instruments, koto and hammered dulcimer notwithstanding.

I played Trombone from elementary to junior high. I like to think I was a decent player. Trombone eventually got very boring for me, so I left band and left my trombone buddy as the only trombone for a whole two years before another trombone person joined.

After trombone, I taught myself guitar for a short while. It got too difficult for me. I can't do frets and different strums with my hands at the same time, so I sold my Guitar, books, and music stand.

For a long time I didn't play any instrument. I'm an artist, so I have plenty else to do with my hands. (Crochet, knitting, pencil art, marker, colored pencil art, watercolor, acrylic, sculpting, sewing, origami, pastels... The list goes on.) I found myself absolutely in awe of Cello music. I discovered Two Cellos, a pretty fabulous pair of Cellists. Listening to Cello music really touched my soul, so I went to the music store to get myself one to play. Alas, my family decided they were far too large for me to play. We didn't have the space. Instead of a cello, I rented a Violin to play. I taught myself the Violin and played for several months until I came upon some money problems. I returned my beloved violin and no longer play music. I do hope that one day I will be able to play again. And I hope I can get my hands on a cello. I just absolutely lose my breath when I hear them or go near them. I truly think it's the instrument for me.

This is sooo hard. I play alto saxophone, clarinet, piano, violin, flute, trumpet and bari sax, and I really love all those instruments, but I think my most favorite is alto saxophone. It sounds so sweet and warm, and is fun to play.

Sometimes the Violin due to its soothing noises that creates a moment of relaxation and peace.

Most of the time, I listen to Electric Guitar since I am a type of person who enjoys music involving Electric Guitar.

Don't know what to day about Electronic Music, though.

I like listening to guitars the most (acoustic or not). I bought one but I gave up quickly.

Piano. I haven't practiced in years and I didn't get all that good to begin with, but it's exhilarating putting your entire soul into the keys. On the flip side, piano is the clearest way to hear someone's soul... Other than visual art, anyway.

I can't play any instruments well, unfortunately. I like listening to guitar, violin and cello, though.

i play the violin, but i love the piano. there is just so much you can do with it.
