what's your favorite thing to cook/bake?

I love both cooking and baking in general. Slightly leaning towards cooking, I think.
Though I love cooking any dishes, whether if it's fancy one or not, there are certain things I love to cook especially when I'm down. It's soups - 酸辣湯 (Sang-lah-tang?) and Minestrone. When I get tired, the urge of wanting to make those soup gets stronger.

Vegan Lasagne c:
My boyfriend is vegan and I'm vegetarian so it works out aha. We use plant-based mince and vegan cheese (but only a tiny bit since we both don't like cheese lol). I was never a fan of lasagne's until we made one but now it's my favourite thing to cook, I generally get excited about food anyway, but this is different lol.

I've recently tried to do Korean rice cakes too, but the sauce recipe used was definitely someone who can withstand extreme spiciness. I'm usually good with spicy food, but this was too far. Hopefully next time the chilli sauce will be just right.

i love to bake banana muffins as something quick and easy but makes a lot (also adding peanut butter and chocolate chips to them was the best idea i've ever had), or a coffee cake. some things i love to make and take to school with me, or make when i get back if i finish before lunch, are egg fried rice (occasionally w/ dumplings from the freezer if i have any) and this super tasty pasta with spinach, pine nuts and pesto. both taste amazing hot or cold. but nothing beats making a tray of brownies with someone.

Recently I've been really into just throwing what spices, leftover veg and tofu cubes into my wok and seeing what comes of it! It's great along with some fluffy sticky rice. I went through a period of cooking a lot of vegan carbonara for a while as well.

For cooking I enjoy making kabobs (roasted chicken and vegetables) with my father.
For baking I love making so many things but my favorites to make are cake pops and small cupcakes because I love decorating!!

I prefer easy meals I can make myself in the microwave. I can only follow simple instructions when it comes to cooking, so those TV dinners are a relief for me. Let’s not talk about that time where I set the microwave on fire because I forgot to put water in my easy mac.

I love baking cakes. It takes a lot of planning and I feel so proud when it comes out well. ; ;

zereshk polo (a persian barberry rice dish)! ive made it like 5 times this week lol. i also add some toasted slivered almonds to it bc thats what my mom did when i was growing up :3

i love cooking chicken in any variety, but i especially like making chicken noodle soup. i also love to make chicken breast, white rice, and cream of mushroom soup. poverty meal that fed me many nights that turned into a comfort meal for me.

For Baking: Japanese Milk Bread! It always turns out absolutely delicious (even if it "fails") so I love to make it.

For Cooking: Various Kimchi. I always grew up watching my grandma and mom making gigantic batches of kimchi and now I'm the one making kimchi for my family. I like trying my hand at different kinds, like spicy radish kimchi (kkakttugi) and pickle-style radish kimchi (dongchimi). My go-to nowadays is a spicy cucumber kimchi (o-i sobaegi) with chives. The chives add a great allium/grassy kick.

I freaking love cooking eggs. They're just so easy, satisfying, and delicious! I eat them basically everyday.
Scrambled, fried, omelette, you name it!

During cool months it’s strawberry cake. Otherwise it’s just popcorn.

My favorite thing to bake are cookies... Which is my favorite thing to eat.....
But I cheat and use cake mix to make cookies. Lol

I think fun things to make are appetizers. But I guess cookies are the appetizers of the dessert world.. 🍪
