What’s your favourite animal? ( from a Zoo )

Hiya! I’ve been to Zoo on my Holiday and loved looking at the animals.

So I’m just wondering what’s your favourite animal?

Hmm, it's hard to choose just one. My favourite animals tend to be the Australian animals. For a non-Australian animal, I love the binturong, and the first time I learned about them it was because I had seen one at a zoo as a kid. ️

What was your favourite animal you saw at the zoo @Sophie23 ?

Hmm…not sure if I could pick one. Wallabies, small wild cats, and New Guinea Singing Dogs are up there.

I like wild cats! And marine animals. I don't like animals in captivity though, unless they are trapped for temporary medical reasons :> So I don't go to zoos anymore.

My best friend and I both have penguins as our favorite animal, so when a zoo has penguins we're pretty hyped.

Probably a lynx. It was pretty cool seeing tapirs as well!

Any in the reptile house, but always enjoy seeing alligators and crocodiles up close.

Okapi but not many zoos have them.
I also enjoy tortoises(desert area) and the aquatic area.

I remember going to seaworld and seeing the shows and stuff but I really liked seeing the penguins so penguins it is

The musk ox hands down!! Mostly because their my favorite animal, but second because they're just adorable, esspecially baby musk ox.

So lucky to get to be able to see musk ox

Hippos, sloths, and elephants are my top three. (I have some Fiona the Hippo Merch!) I also like capybaras and okapis.

i haven’t visited a zoo since i was a kid, so i honestly can’t remember what sorts of animals i saw back then, but i know the zoo closest to me has axolotls and red pandas, so those are my favourite by default! i’d love to go there again one day just for them either the zoo or the african lion safari used to have stingrays that we could touch, and i absolutely loved them when i was a kid!

the zoo also has brownbanded bamboo sharks, fly river turtles, greater kudus, blue poison dart frogs, north american river otters, american moose, mouflons, przewalski’s horses, arctic wolves, and caribous apparently! i’m not sure if any of them were there last time i went, but i’d love to go for them as well! they have a bunch of cool birds there as well

My favourite animal is the African Lion

For me it's sea otters I LOVE THOSE LIL GUYS! I've never seen them in person but I love seeing those live streams of them I get on YouTube all of the time.

I don't really support zoos. Animals should be free. We have some kind of open zoo with birds. They can fly away and come back any time and most of the time you can see a lot of them. It's also free entry and I prefer this over any zoo.
