Today's Pancake Tuesday! So, in light of that, what's your favourite pancake topping? What's your favourite style (crepe, butterscotch, etc)? Have you had pancakes today, or planning to?

My favourite toppings for pancakes are lemon and sugar. It's quite munch, if I do say so myself. I prefer crepes, but to be honest, I'll eat any style of pancake.

I enjoy my pancakes with butter and maple syrup! 🥞🥞 I’m not a big breakfast person so I don’t eat pancakes often. I also really like crepes but I haven’t had them in a long time so maybe I’ll make some soon!

Most of the time I prefer just maple syrup and nothing else on my pancakes!

But powdered sugar and vanilla ice cream are also really great on pancakes 🥞

Whoops, forgot about maple syrup! Just added the option to the poll 😅

Maple syrup mainly. Or blueberry syrup! But sometimes butter. Pancakes upset my stomach so I rarely eat them, but they are delicious, and sometimes worth the bellyaches!!

So, my favorite topping is this strawberry syrup stuff, but I only get that if I am eating in a restaurant sometimes. Most of the time, I have maple syrup on my pancakes.
My favorite pancakes I've ever had was New York cheese cake pancakes. IHOP has them. They have little cubes of cheese cake inside of them and strawberry syrup and strawberries and whip cream on top. Very yummy.
I was not planning on pancakes today. Very rarely do I have them at home since my spouse is t a huge fan of them, I'd have to eat them myself and measuring it out can be a little tricky if I am just wanting one pancake. I really should look into getting frozen premade ones so I can just eat one.

We had pancakes just a few days ago so probably won't be having them today, but my favorite pancake and waffle toppings are butter, berries, chopped pecans, and honey! I rarely ever have syrup with them anymore, although boysenberry syrup was a childhood favorite, and I might have to make an exception for it.
Whipped cream is lovely on pancakes, but I only have that with them rarely, if I feel like giving myself a treat.

I've only had a crepe once! I might have to go for one again sometime.

i picked other because i usually have maple syrup and sugar together. i haven't tried many toppings tbh, that's just what i've always had on pancakes since i was a kid. (though sometimes i had honey and sugar instead, but i prefer the maple syrup.) i think my preferred topping/s might be different if i was eating those really fluffy american-style pancakes, because that's an entirely different texture (that i would like to try!) compared to the ones we make here.

I'm boring and uninspired and only used maple syrup when eating pancakes. Tried blueberry and strawberry syrups once and those were okay. Never tried them with any other toppings and am unlikely to do so now as pancakes aren't something I eat anymore.

If, for whatever reason, the situation arose that I ate them again, I'd consider trying them with berries or something.

I usually have them with butter and maple syrup (or no syrup if I don't want to deal with the mess) but I am pretty sure I went to a restaurant where I had whipped cream and chocolate chips on it.
