Very much a night owl. Usually fall asleep around 2:30 am which means I have to sneak in a mid-day nap the next day or I’ll just be a zombie. I envy morning people though because it seems like there’s many more opportunities to be productive if you can get to bed earlier but that just ain’t me lol
I'm definitely an early bird! I usually go to bed around 10:30-11:30 pm, I don't usually stay up any later than that unless I'm watching youtube or twitch. I get up around 7 or 8 am, my body naturally wakes me up at 7 and I sometimes fall back asleep until 8. My body hates me on the weekends and I maintain the same sleep schedule, so I wake up at 8 on weekends (bleh). My sleep schedule used to be WACK in quarantine but I fixed it, I would stay up until 2 am and then wake up at 7 am.
Literal nocturnal gremlin, as of the past week I’ve been falling asleep around 10am and waking up for dinner. It’s kinda weird being awake when my family is all getting up and getting ready to go to work
When I was in high school I stayed up really late like 3am to watch anime, then I'd wake up at 6-7 for school. Trash sleeping pattern and I ended up being unable to concentrate at school! Nowadays I'm working so maintain a relatively healthy sleeping pattern of sleeping at 12am then waking up at 7-8am.
I am naturally more of a night owl, and left to my own devices I would stay up until 2-3AM and sleep until 10-11AM. Sadly this doesn’t jive with most areas of work I’m interested in. So I’ve needed to adjust my patterns several times to be sleeping from midnight to 7AM. It’s a struggle at first, but my brain figures it out after a couple of weeks. I just need to make sure I don’t slip into my night owl ways, or else I need to start all over again.
I would call myself an early bird honestly.
I've always been able to get up really early during the day (Whether that's 5:30 for school or even just 6:30 for work) I am luckily able to function and go about my day waking up quite early. I did once a while ago have to get up at 4:00 A.M. for my robotics competition, get to the school early and drive a few hours to the place. That was fun.
I try to get offline by like 8:30, that's just me because I'm tired and I try to go to bed early, and sometimes I'm lights out, TV off at 9:30.
Here's the kicker, it doesn't matter how tired I am when I fall asleep or when I lay down ready to sleep and eyes closed, my body and my brain do not like to shut off for a good hour and half or 2 hours. It's annoying.
I have tried getting offline really early, not going on my phone at all (this I try everyday since I no longer really use my phone for any social media platform) reading before bed, watching a show, sipping some tea (I don't drink milk so I don't want it warm that sounds gross to me) meditating, doing some yoga. It never really seems to matter how much exercise or activity I get during the day, this sleep pattern has been a thing since I was 12.
then again I have been through some stressful events that have an affect on the brain, especially younger, and then we have those moments where I remember something stupid I did 10 years ago and can't stop thinking about why the heck I did that, why didn't I do this, and end up cringing at about 30 different things I did that I want to die for XD
I'm in my second week booked off work now and my body has adjusted to getting about 7 hours of sleep, so in most cases that means waking up at 7am. When I am working though I'm on completely random shifts so sometimes I'll have to be up at 4am, all the way through to not starting my shift until about 4pm - still I try to never ever sleep past 9am these days.
I’m definitely a night owl, I try to sleep at 1 am, but I use my phone at bed for like 2 hours so I usually end up asleep at 3 am or something either browsing the forum, Instagram, or finishing a series. I sleep for about 8 hours and then wake up at 11 am, sometimes I sleep at 4 am and wake up at 1 xD yeah I really need to straighten up my sleep schedule... There are these rare occasions where I wake up at 9 am when I slept at 3 am, but that usually because someone disturbed my sleep lol
I sleep around 1am. Most nights I wake up around 4am or 5am. Then I’m awake for an hour or so and I fall asleep after that. Then I wake up again around 10. I wish I could change this somehow.
My current sleep schedule is terrible. I used to go to sleep around 10pm & wake up at 8:30am. Now I haven’t been able to fall asleep until 2:30-3:30am & I’m still waking up at 8:30am because that’s when my son wakes up so I don’t have a choice lol
It keeps changing and always has done, it changes forward by about 2 hours each day. although over the past week I have managed to keep it under control- have been sleeping at around midnight and waking up at 9am consistently is really good for me.
i used to have a really solid sleep schedule (usually i'd be in bed by 11 and wake up at 7:30, with only slight fluctuation on days off) but since the pandemic started i've been all over the place. sometimes i don't go to bed until 4am, sometimes i'm half asleep at 10:30pm. it's a mess :///
I always used to say I was a night owl, but I'm not exactly sure anymore.
Nowadays, I go to bed around 1am and wake up around 8:30ish. It depends on how tired I am. I like to stay up late, but I'm just awful at it, lol. I wear out easily. Recently I've been liking to wake up earlier so I have time to wake myself up before I get in to a bunch of activities and such. So I'm not really sure what I am anymore
