when are you planning to start playing?

My local Game Mania is closing down on March 19th because of the ongoing Covid-19 threat. Pre-orders can be picked up tomorrow (March 18), which is most likely when I will start playing!

I have it preordered online, so I'll play it whenever it arrives. Could be a day early or a month late.

I mean, they play at the exact time as anyone else. The only difference is the hour they start compared to other people.

i know, but i guess it'll FEEL earlier to them? also maybe i'm just lame and like to sleep early, but it gives them more ""day"" time to play (what w my whole dilemma about wanting to start up my game when more villagers are up / more is happening -> daytime)

If it unlocks at 11pm on the 19th then I'll probably reset a bit to try getting an island I like....and probably play the tutorial as well.

If it doesn't unlock until midnight I'll probably just wait until the morning.

bought and preloaded the day it came out on the eshop (which was like 5 days after my bday so I got it as a present thanks mom lol) so I'm planning on going to bed early the night before and wake up around 6am and start playing while eating breakfast

9p PST. Also, the Bunny Day update drops tomorrow, so make sure you get your pre-installed game updated (apparently, this is possible) prior to whatever time your game goes live.

I hope its true that we can update it early! I don't wanna wait for it to download in the morning

Unfortunately, I was planning on playing with my friend when we got back from Spring Break (since he has a switch) but since I wont be seeing him for 5 months now I'm not sure when I'll get to finally play the game. I'm thinking of saving up for a switch this summer so hopefully then.
