If Best Buy in my area isn’t closed by Friday, I’ll start playing around 10:30 AM when I’m home from picking up my physical preorder. But if Best Buy does close and I end up going digital... I’m not sure when I’ll start playing. I’m in the US east coast area, so the digital version would be available at 12AM. I don’t think I want to start playing, only to play for a max of 1 hour and then have to go to bed. However, I also think I’ll be too excited to sleep. I just don’t want to ruin my sleep schedule, lol. In any case, I hope I can just get my physical copy.

My local Game Mania is closing down on March 19th because of the ongoing Covid-19 threat. Pre-orders can be picked up tomorrow (March 18), which is most likely when I will start playing!

i decided to get the digital version because i'm not sure that stores will even be open so i can buy it on friday. my plan had been to get to the store at ten am when it opens, get it, and then play once i got home. but now i'm thinking i might start at midnight because i have the digital copy lol

My local GameStop cancelled their midnight release, so I'm going there first thing in the morning to get the game. I'll probably start playing about 10 am EST, although, I WILL admit, I'm going to spend quite a lot of time soft resetting for layout/fruit/airport colour.

Well I get back from school at 3:30pm, then I have to change and get my money, so 3:35... then I have to run to my local Tesco that's 15 mins away, so 3:50...
Buying it will take about 10 mins, so now 4pm...
Then the walk back from Tesco will take 15 minutes (4:15pm)
Then I wat for 15 or so mins for the download, meaning I'll start playing at 4:30pm!

As soon as I get it, idk whether I'm getting digital or not so either 11 pm Thursday (that's when it's playable here) Or in.the morning on Friday if my parents pick up a physical version for me, we'll see.

I'm torn between playing at release or waiting for my AC switch to come. I'm getting another one so my sister can play on her own island but I want to use the AC switch so I'll have to restart when/if my switch ends up coming.
