When do you usually put up your Christmas decorations?

I just bought some shatter free ornaments and some poinsettia garland today from Michaels craft store. So I put up my tree and decorated my house today for Christmas

I am hoping soon I can get some projector lights for outside.

When does your family usually put up Christmas decorations?

Shortly after Halloween. I already have some of them out. I plan on putting up the tree soon. It looks so pretty.

Never, sadly. The last time I was foolish enough to put up a Christmas tree, one of my cats took a running leap onto it and pulled it over. Smashed bulbs, tinsel/glitter carpet, and general chaos ensued. I was done with it after that. -_-

I did however wrap some pretty blue lights around the banister that runs along the bridge thing in my second story last year, and never bothered to take them down. Guess I'll have an excuse to plug them in again now that the holidays are rapidly approaching!

We usually wait until December but this year when my boyfriend was taking town the Halloween decorations the other day he decided to put up my mom's Christmas stuff too. So now we're one of THOSE families. We wont get a tree until December though, and that's what I like the most, I love smelling it.

At home, my family and I would always try to put decorations up on the 1st December or as close to the beginning of December as we could. But now I don't live at home I guess it's just whenever my flatmates and I can be bothered to get some decorations. Some of my friends have already put up decorations.

We usually start putting them up on December 1st but it just depends on when all my family is at home together.

We always take them down 12 days after Christmas Day though, it's bad luck otherwise!

We used to put them up midway through December but recently we've learned that the earlier, the better. So this year it's going to be the first Friday in December. Am so excited!

We usually put them up after the weekend after Thanksgiving. Although, I think Mom's already in the Christmas spirit. It's not even Thanksgiving yet, and she's already putting up Christmas knickknacks. x_x

We don't put them up until it's December but I have started looking around at all of the Christmas ornaments and decorations they have in stores. I'm looking forward to putting them up as I do every year but it's too early for me.

Honestly I get into the Christmas spirit way before I start putting out decorations -- I've been listening to a Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin Christmas playlist for about three days, now.
