I do like the natural looking log bridge but I am interested to discover new styles. I used the stone bridge in New Leaf so I might pick something like that again.
i’ve finally unlocked more bridge designs and i placed the brick one near the river mouth as it leads right to nook’s cranny and the able sisters - i might be placing another bridge today where the log bridge was but i haven’t decided yet aha
I built a second log bridge to have easier access to the other part of my island, so I wouldn't have to carry my pole vault everywhere with me. Picked the log bridge because it was the cheapest option.
I have a blue iron bridge that's probably going to see a lot of use on my island-- I plan on switching out the standard log bridge as soon as possible! My first one was built to connect the left and right sides of my island so I could get to villager houses more easily.
I placed my log bridge on the right side of my island, which is where I want my villagers homes to be, (like a resident village area). Once my resident services is upgraded I want to add another bridge on the left side of town, where all my shops are gonna be. After that I’ll probably replace my first log bridge.
My river has split my island into three areas - the central/southern area of my island where most stuff is at the moment, the left side and the right side which don't have much in them yet. I only have one bridge currently, which connects the central area to the left side of the island. I plan on having another bridge to connect the central area to the right side of the island, as well as one or two bridges further north as my only bridge is near the southern beach.
So far I've only seen the log bridge, which is the kind of bridge I have in my town right now. Can't wait to unlock more bridge types and see what they look like!
One on the left, one on the right and one on the top, just so that every villager can reach any spot on the ground level. Two of them will need to be moved to another spot because I'll need to change those rivers, but I think villagers being able to move around before you reach the max is an important step.
I'm really glad that the max is now 8 though, because I can't wait to add them to the upper level. But I'll work on the ground floor first.
