Plucky was one of my very first starters. I didn't get as attached to Poncho as I did to Plucky for some reason, even though he still holds a special place in my heart. Plucky, though? I'd step on four legos for her. She's amazing and she reminds me of one of my favorite childhood movies, Chicken Run.
Olivia is my ultimate favorite villager and I have no idea how I first discovered her. She's just perfection to me. Soft voice, beautiful house. She reminds me of Rarity from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic too, which is always a bonus.
Rory I saw on tumblr and immediately wanted him. I love lions, I dig his bright colors and teeth. I thought his catchphrase was something the blogger had customized though and was really surprised by his "capital" one.
Dobie I loved at first sight. He's a grandpa wolf, what's not to love? And he's a writer? And a retired detective or something? He's the best.
Carrie autofilled and grew on me so fast. Best island mom ever.
Man I could list so many others, too. I love Animal Crossing villagers and how special they can be to someone.
