Pokémon Where's Gold, Silver, and Crystal?

I hope to see Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal be released in the Nintendo eshop. I first started with Pokemon Crystal in gen 2. That was my first ever Pokemon game I played and I grew up with it. Comment if you want gen 2 to be available on the 3DS!

The three Zelda games, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, Prince of Persia, Shantae, Pokemon Puzzle Challenge, Harvest Moon... that's just from the top of my head. They've released a ton of GBC games since like 2011.

They'll probably come eventually, but I don't feel any strong desire for them considering we already have HeartGold and SoulSilver. Crystal was my favorite Pokemon game at one point, but HGSS are just greatly improved versions of it. The only thing Crystal has over HGSS in my opinion is that Kris has a better design than Lyra.

To add to this, Link's Awakening DX was one of the launch titles when the eShop opened in June 2011 (5 years ago!), so GBC games have always been there.

I really want to see those games too. I still have my cart copy of Crystal but I would love to have it on my New 3DS. As much as I enjoyed HG/SS I would like to play the original G/S. My cart copy of Yellow was lost years ago so I was pleased I could download and play it again. I hope they release Gen 2 in the eshop eventually.

Yeah I don't think we'll get GSC at all.

You can take your Game Boy Color game cartridge in to a video store and have them replace the internal battery. I have done that before and I happen to have just done it with my Pokemon Crystal today. Where do you live? Is their a reliable video store near you?

I guess I'll go against the grain and say that I fully expect GSC to come to the eShop in the future. The RBY releases printed money for them, so why wouldn't they release the next three? I wouldn't think it would be much more difficult to port them.

I'd hope G/S/C returns, if only so I can relive my childhood with Crystal. Was pretty sad when the battery in mine kicked the bucket.

The post was edited. It originally asked whether Nintendo would make a console that plays GBC games as well as other formats available on the VC. The edit mentioned GSC.

Edit: after looking at it again, yeah, now I look like a non-sequiturous jerk.

I have a heartgold copy, but I don't feel like its the same without my gold cart. My save battery just ran out of juice, and I lost the cart. Please Nintendo. Give us G/S/C
