Pokémon Where's Gold, Silver, and Crystal?

This. I think Heart Gold and Soul Silver probably covered accessibility to those games. It does really stink about Crystal though.

Crystal was so awesome. I was maybe 8 or 9 when it came out and being able to actually play as a female character for the first time was the coolest thing ever.

I've been wondering this too, Heart Gold, and Soul Silver were nice and all, but the originals were my favorites by far, probably because of nostalgia, but I really want it nonetheless.

I really really want Gen 2 to come out on the eshop! If they fixed the trading and stuff, oh boy it would be amazing! I really hope they do this, it's an amazing idea!

Oh my gosh that would be a brilliant idea! I hope Nintendo will do the right thing and release gen 2 in the eshop. That way I won't have to worry about my save file getting erased somehow. I had just replaced my internal battery so my Crystal game cartridge is really old and sensitive.

Yea I lost my progress when I got it back but It didn't bother me one bit.

I certainly hope so too. Especially with the battery issue with the old G/S/C games today. I feel more nostalgia from generation 2 games then generation 1. Probably because I never owned my own Red, Blue or Yellow version. Pokemon Silver was my first pokemon game and video game in general. I had a blast playing it. I like Heart Gold and Soul Silver, but they just aren't the same to me...

My guess is that the games will be released on eshop during THEIR 20th anniversary, which will probably be 2019/2020 I believe...

Mines in the mail (Crystal) on its way here lol. I don't have a problem with it coming to VC though, and it likely will since Yellow Red and Blue are already available there.

I remember I bought Yellow from a used game shop and not even a week later they announced it'd be coming to the Eshop lol. I was mad at first but quickly got over it as Pokemon is one of the few series I really prefer to have a physical copy of.

I don't have a problem with it being easier for other fans to get though. Spread the love you know?

I really do hope we get the G/S/C games on the Virtual Console, I'd love it. HG/SS are some of my favorite games in the whole series, alongside G/S/C of course, but there were some small changes that I wasn't a huge fan of that add some fuel to still wanting to play the Game Boy Color versions.

Maybe it's just nitpicking but I really loved the room-decoration in GSC, it was so cute! A lot of people praise RSE for all the Secret Base stuff and that's great, but hey man Johto started that train. Also I can't stand Voltorb Flip. I appreciate that it exists because it would've been oh-so-easy for Game Freak to give us nothing at all, but I just don't care for it and would prefer the old Game Corner every time.

Also, GSC to Virtual Console would open up the potential for something else that I really want, Ho-Oh and Lugia N3DS cover plates. Please make it happen.
