This forum was made for happiness, and for people to make friends and Wi-Fi on Animal Crossing.
But now its full of hate (not all of it but most of it.) and arguements, fighting.

What happened? Where'd the love go?

@ Gnome: I don't know if you've known this or not but I'm not some "N00B" who's only just started on The Bell Tree, I was on here when CityFolk/Lets Go To The City came out(2008-2009 ish), and I know The Bell Tree's never been full of love but people weren't so critical and mean. Now it seems if you make one stupid grammer or spelling mistake your "corrected"..

It was a nicer place when it was a small group of people. You can't expect everyone to have the same ideology as you in the sense that we should all be friends and stop hating on each other because this is a kid's forum. WHO EVER SAID IT WAS? I'm tired of these newer members/younger members complaining because this is supposed to be a kid's forum. Just like Cartoon Network's supposed to be a kid's channel. Those are only assumptions, not statements. And if you haven't noticed, we did actually talk about animal crossing, when it was out. But now, it's been a year, and it died down fast because of the repetitiveness of it.

This may be the internet, but that doesn't mean you're automatically supposed to disrespect anyone who annoys you or that you disagree with. =\
I think it'd be nice if people just learned to ignore instead of bashing (or to really be out there... be nice to each other). ^^

First, to your comment:
Whether you believe it or not, grammar matters. When you type like an idiot on the internet (i.e. "u"), it can become a habit and you might do it on a major term paper. Also, people watch you, whether you believe it or not, and the way you type is your language on the internet. If you type incoherently, or in bad grammar, it reflects you either as a) lazy for not proofreading or spell checking or b) it shows that you don't have the smarts to type correctly.

Ronaldo: I know. And you're right. I'm not saying they have the right to be that way, but you can't expect them to change just because you or someone else complains and whines. I've dealt with people like this all my life, and they usually like the way they are and don't see a problem with it. But in rare cases, they see what they're doing is wrong and change. And people should be nicer, yes. 1) This is the wrong way to go about it; complaining and whining. 2) Sometimes, the people that get trashed bring it upon themselves.

I agree with you grammar does matter. But that doesn't give you the right to correct everyone, and some people like to type like this ; omg ur lik totllay serius!
And thats their preference
