Well, also consider this again, when old members rag on newer members, they usually have a reason. We don't go all crazy because one of them posted in the wrong section, we just correct them. But when someone acts like an ass, then yea, we're going to be tough on them and probably keep up on that.
You're kind of over exaggerating, it really hasn't been that bad, I've seen worse, Infact, i've been worse. Some people,still troll, mostly just Gnome bein' a rooster ;P (inb4 *censored.8.1* penis *censored.8.1*) But nothing as bad as '09.

I understand where you're coming from and what you want, however, some people seem to need a reality check: this is the internet. As others have stated, it's not always going to be rainbows and unicorns. Just like in real life, people don't always get along with each other. However, there have been worse times. Honestly, TBT is slowly getting better. Complaining about the lack of love isn't going to fix anything, trust me, you're not the first one.
On another note, the whole spelling and grammar thing. There is a thing called Internet etiquette. This is a forum, not a chat room or a text message. People want to understand what you're saying, so please refrain from "typ1n layke dissssss". Yes, you do have the right to type however you want, but then that also grants others the right to correct you and call you an idiot. Because really, if you're typing like that, what other adjective is there to describe you?
I understand correcting someone for every little error is a bit annoying, because we all make mistakes, but really, if you just put a little effort and type correctly, it could help you in the long run. If it's really that hard, just get a Web Browser with a spell check. It's not difficult.

So that's like seeing someone pointing a gun at someone in a store, and you happen to have your gun on you (cause you have your CHL) and you shoot at the criminal. Nobody said it was your job. Not everyone is meant to get along.
Most people just judge people by grammar and their post count, that's just the way they are.
Some people on The Bell Tree just need to be sorted out really.

Honestly... both sides should just mind their business... but looking at previous examples terrible grammar does get on people's nerves...
