I was just thinking that!

Blathers was so funny in Wild World, he'd have a unique reaction to most things you donated, and he gave such good and accurate information.

I think people who choose New Leaf are talking about aesthetics, and yep, the graphics are better (except fish look plastic in New Leaf). They may not have experienced the real Blathers and Celeste, and how fantastic it was to have The Roost and Observatory in one place. ^_^

Each to their own though.
