I didn’t even realise some of these like aurora screen were gone ): I’ve played this game for so long but I just assumed… #1 set I miss even though it’s been mentioned here is Gracie’s gorgeous set. Vibe is literally impossible to match tbh
I feel like I’m aware of almost all furniture in NH, but NL is one where I feel like I’m never going to know all the furniture in the game (affectionate)
I really miss the rococo furniture set and the princess set. The Zelda items. And I know we have the ice set but the version in new leaf looked better to me.
I definitely miss the hair-bow wig! I wore it almost daily in New Leaf.
Also plenty of furniture, I was always waiting for more to be added during updates but alas
Many. Too many to list on here. There are some crossover items like the fairy and Master Sword that I wish were in the game. I feel some items in the base game like the Gorgeous series should have made it in. Despite having a lot of customisation of items in NH, I feel NL had more a more variety of items but maybe thats just my impression.
You guys have made me so sad, because I never played New Leaf and as such, you're telling me I've missed out on these beautiful items?!
I know I've looked at all the furniture sets from New Leaf before, and I'd love to see the Astro series return to the next game. I think it's quite cute!
Gonna be a broken record here but I miss Crab Clock the most. Aside from that, I miss:
- Rainbow Screen and Aurora Screen were iconic, I cannot believe they didn't put those two items in ACNH.
- All the missing furniture series -- I miss the Polka Dot furniture series the most, and I hate that they only included part of the Sloppy series in ACNH. The Astro series like SJ mentioned above was also awesome, I loved it in blue!!
- oh and the PLANTS.. so many potted plants missing I think caladium is the one I miss the most out of all the missing plants
SO many furniture items I don't even want to begin to name them all, and many of the nicer ones I can think of have already been named in this topic. I think some of the main things missing for me is all the references to other Nintendo games. The Mario items are fun but where are TLoZ, Pikmin, Splatoon, and other game items? I want to be able to have a 3DS in NH again, and I liked how in NL you could actually play a game with it. I wish in NH you could play something on your Switch rather than it being purely decorative. NL just had so many fun, cute, and unique items that could've looked great in NH.
The first thing that came to mind were the princess, sweets, and alpine furniture sets/series. It's something I was pretty sad about when I realized they weren't in NH. ;v; I haven't played NL in a hot minute so I'd have to think more on what else, but atm those missing sets are definitely something I tend to think about.
I'll never get over the windmill not coming to ACNH... i had a tulip field ready for a windmill for months and months before I finally realised they weren't gonna bring it back in any update
The alpine furniture set and making things with emeralds, the trees having symbols on their trunks when you cut them down. Arora screen. Bug lamp, football fish lamp, lily lamp I miss the most.
The rainbow screen, aurora screen, and beetle chair come to mind. Recently I booted up NL and I was so surprised by how much cuter the furniture concepts were! Some real gems weren't brought to NH...
There's several, but one I realised I missed fairly recently is the PWP windmill. I thought it would've gone nicely in a spot on my island I've decorated to display something, only for me to find that it's not in the game. :c
The butterfly dress with the white patent shoes was my go-to outfit for so long once I got it. I still love the look of this dress. I know it *could* be recreated with a custom design but it would never be the same as the Gracie Grace original... simply a knock-off. Gracie would scoff at anyone tramping around in a custom designed version!
needless to say, I'll always be vocal about how much I miss Gracie Grace and her items, clothing & furniture.
