Which ordinance do you use?

I don't use any of them, none seemed particularly beneficial.

I currently have the night owl ordinance in place, but honestly I think I can go without it; that one hour difference doesn’t seem to make too much of a difference for me. I don’t personally feel like any of the ordinance are very useful to me and I can definitely see the beautiful island one being a complete nightmare!

Night owl but it sucks mega. Even with it whenever I do play the shops are all closed

I don't use any. In NL I needed the Beautiful Ordinance to keep flowers from watered without having to kill my grass to get to them (not the best plan, Nintendo). Since flowers don't need tending in NH, that isn't necessary.

I thought about using Bell Bloom, and if I were just starting out, that might be an option, but I've been playing long enough that I have a healthy bank account, so I don't need that, either.

It seems to be like the weeds only grow slowly but they don't go away which was a poor decision on Nintendo's part.

It would make less sense for them to completely eliminate weeds, since in NL they were simply a nuisance item that had to be picked so your town rating didn't suffer. In NH, they are a resource for crafting, so I can't see Nintendo doing something that would fully remove them.

I don't use any ordinances. I rarely play when the shops are closed or villagers are asleep. When I tried Beautiful Island, the flowers reproduced too fast. I had Bell Boom on for a good month or so, but I recently restarted my island, so I ended up spending twice as much as I was selling and I was losing bells.

I got bell boom since it's the only one that is mildly useful. As other have said before, nigh owl/early bird dont make much of a difference anymore, and beautiful town floods your town with random flowers, doesnt remove weeds and without the ordinance the flowers dont wit anymore in this game, so it's not useful either.

Regarding the beautiful town one, I get that you need weeds to make a few DIYs, but I still wish they made it so it removes weeds again, I find them pretty annoying. When I play ACNH, its usually during 6-7am on weekdays and 10pm-12am on weekends, so I always have to change my switch's clock so it's daytime because the 1 hour difference in the day/night bird doesnt help.

Beautiful. As I have no interest in Bell Boom and adding and extra hour at the beginning or end of the day wouldn’t really benefit me much as I don’t really play early or late very often.

I don’t use it to increase flowers though considering I have all my flowers surrounded with transparent patterns to prevent them from spreading. No cockroaches are a nice plus though considering I have 5 houses/characters and often take lengthy breaks from the game. I wish it affected weed growth more but at least it slows it down a little bit.

I'm currently on the Beautiful Island ordinance until I have the amount of flowers I want in all the variations. After that, it's back to Night Owl or Bell Boom.

I use the Night Owl Ordinance because I want the shops opened later and the villagers going to bed later. In my country, this is usually the case so it also feels a bit more natural. These villagers don't have jobs anway so them going to bed earlier doesn't make sense to me. I am considering the Bell Boom in the future though, probably in the summer when the expensive bugs and fish come out.

I hate how almost useless the time ordinances are now, like they were SO MUCH BETTER in New Leaf! Like literally why did nintendo have to ruin them!! 2-3 hours was way better than 1!!!!! I used to be able to go and sell fruit at 7AM before my school work! Night owl isnt as good either Bell boom has always had the downgrade of more expensive items BUT that made it so shops would upgrade MUCH faster like a whole week quicker, AND there were 2 special items like the hot value items instead of one! Now we can alway shave 2 items. Flowers no longer wilt so beautiful is basically useless. It doesnt need to make flowers grow faster and mroe hybrids because its already insanely easy for them to grow like mayhem. Now guess what! Weeds will STILL appear unlike in New Leaf! They just wont grow as fast! Like waaat. I still get weeds and when I hear they wont grow as fast it just means the weeds progression stages (Dead leaves - big bushy trash.). Ordinances ae still fun but are kind of useless and no where near as good as NL imo. Sorry for still complaining about NL better even after 2.0 as I know it sounds ungrateful .

I used Beautiful Island Ordinance for a while but I got so annoyed by the massive increase of runaway flowers so I went for Night Owl. I end up time travelling a lot so the ordinances feel next to useless to me :/

In my New Leaf town I used the beautiful one, but I tried it on New Horizons and oh my days, flowers EVERYWHERE! So I swapped it to the night owl one cause I play late when I'm in work (I usually have a nap when I get home and eat around 8pm) and I play till late when I'm not in work so :'D

I use the early bird ordinance because I'm typically awake by 6 am. I do agree I wish the villagers woke up earlier and the shops would open earlier as well.
