I'm not sure about specific villagers but I'd imagine that the sheep or the bears would give great hugs. The sheep since they're so fluffy, and the bears since they're so big.

Goldie or Stitches. Goldie - She resembles a golden retriever (i think) and I LOVE dogs. Stitches - well, they're just a life size teddy bear <3

Obviously the sheep villagers would give you the perfect fluffy warm hugs, followed by the bear
villagers who would give you carefully a hug (since they may thing they could hurt you, as they
are taller and stronger than you). Although small villagers like mice or squirrels could probably
also give you some adorable little hugs.

I feel like Rooney would give really good hugs. He's protective and tough. Plus, he is very sporty and athletic (despite not being a jock villager), so I imagine him to have a bit of a muscular/toned physique. <3333 Plus, the cranky villagers have a heart of gold once you get to know them, and they become so warm and loving. <333
