I just like rl goats and the goat villagers, I don't find any of their designs bad like other types of villagers.
If I had to choose best and worse, I would say best overall would be Kidd or Nan, worst overall, Sherb or Billy? I just think Sherb is plain, kinda cute, but plain. Billy idk I'm not super drawn to him. Velma's design is a little weird, I gotta admit. But she reminds me of a goat I used to know irl so she has an unfair advantage due to 'sedimental points'.
Kidd was my very first smug and the first villager to visit my campsite. I love Kidd. He's a great smug and his house is lovely. I like his coloration too. Nan and Chèvre are a great pair and Sherb is adorable. I think I kind of like all the goats and they are fun for a fairy tale island.
That's a tough one because my favorite goats, Sven and Iggy, were never brought over from the GameCube. But I voted for Billy and Kidd because I think they both look nice.
My least favorite is Pashmina due to bad experiences with her. She moved into my New Leaf town randomly and I though I was going to love her, but we just never clicked. She said some things that rubbed me the wrong way, which is odd for New Leaf since the dialogue was so toned down in that game. She was kind of passive aggressive. She also got in fights with my other villagers and was always stomping around town. I was so excited to meet her when she first moved in, but when she asked to leave, I was more than ready to let her go.
ah this one’s tough as i honestly really like the goats but billy, pashmina and nan own my whole heart; they’re such cuties and deserve way more attention! i’ve currently got pashmina on my island and i’m really enjoying having her around + her interior and exterior are nice, too!
gruff is probably the worst imo,, he’s not awful but he doesn’t appeal to me at all and i’m not too fond of his design either.
I voted Chevre and Sherb as the best for me, because I have previously had both of them on my island. I adore them both, and would have them back on my island if I could.
Velma is probably who I dislike the most. I had her New Leaf for a bit. She was a random move-in (My stupid self left it to fate to auto-fill the plot). I really disliked her. It was a nightmare for me to get her to leave as well, so she has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Surprised to see nobody here likes Velma lol, I was actually considering her for my Snooty on my current island. I like her glasses.
Billy’s cute but I wish he wasn’t a jock. I don’t hate any of the goats but I forget Kidd exists frequently so him I guess.
Also why is Bruce a deer when goats exist this has perplexed and confounded me for ages
Chevre got my vote! But I agree her and Nan are so cute together. I had her in my New Leaf game already so I did not seek her this time around, but she is definitely my favourite goat.
most of the goats are SO cute, they did a great job designing them.
i LOVE sherb, he's so cute and sweet and blue. he's just a baby baby boy. i also love chevre and nan (the girlfriends), i often have chevre in my town/on my island, she's just a sweetie. i also love iggy and sven the blue grandpas, please bring them back.
least favourites would have to be gruff and velma. gruff looks like the long lost 5th beatle and i can't stand the beatles lol. plus he's an unfortunate shade of green. velma just looks bad, if she's supposed to be a reference to velma from scooby doo they really did her dirty.
My stance for the best and worst goat villager hasn't changed other than I've started disliking Gruff a lot more. Its not just him though. I've started disliking unnaturally green villagers more.
Sherb is my favourite goat villager because he is blue and a lazy personality. He always thinks about food and he was the first villager that was on my Mystery Island and I was thrilled to get him.
The goats are some of my favorite villagers as a whole, I love their designs! Nan and Chevre are my favorites, they're in love and I have them both on my island on a cliff by the sea together. I couldn't possibly pick between the two of them. Maybe Chevre though I've had her since the beginning. I'm also a big fan of Sherb!
My least favorite would probably be Velma, I have nothing against her her design just doesn't appeal to me as much as the others
I like all of them, especially Chevre, Kidd, and Sherb. Though I voted for Chevre, she's so cute! She is even the first villager picture I got when she used to live in my Wild World town!
I don't even remotely hate Velma at all, I would like her more if she didn't have that stupid beard!
Billy is best because I love the elderly villagers!! Having a little age variety makes a town feel a lot more real to me. Though I've never played the Gamecube AC, I really love Sven and Iggy's designs too, and I'm kind of sad they've never been brought back. Sven would probably be a dreamie of mine if he ever made a comeback.
I also voted for Sherb because he's really, really adorable, and his color palette is top notch stuff.
As for the worst... I'd say Gruff. His hair is weird and I don't like the lime green fur with the rest of his design.
Kidd is my favourite goat. To begin with, I could take or leave Kidd, but now he has a very special attachment to me and would never let him leave. I love his colour, plus I believe he's the only smug goat.
My least favourite is Velma. I'm not keen on snooty villagers and her glasses seem to reflect a bit too much for me!
I guess I'm gonna be vanilla again because I picked Sherb. Funnily enough, I actually didn't care for him at all for the first few months. If I recall I found him while island hopping and he wasn't who I was looking for, but I figured he'd fetch a good price in NMT later on. I swear he had a plan because he honestly never asked to move out, and when he finally asked (I think nearly a year later?) I had become somewhat attached. I remember at first I excused it as "I'm not ready to look for a new villager yet" but after the third or fourth time I had denied him, I just came to accept I had grown to like him. Other than him, I do like Chevre design wise. She used to be an old dreamie of mine back in New Leaf.
As for my least favourite goat villager, I would have to go with Gruff. I don't mind his face, but I really dislike his hair and the brown coupled with that shade of green looks awful and just isn't doing it for me.
