Who is/are villager(s) you love that nobody seems to mention at all?

Ever have those fave villager(s) that people just forget about? Not notoriously ugly, strange looking, cute, loved, adorable, but just...there?

I have some! Ed & Pashmina (Well, last time I checked, nobody really spoke of Pashmina)

Two of my favorites that are very rarely mentioned are:

Cheri - One of the cutest peppy's in the game imo
Lopez - I feel like for the smugs, he's one of the most under appreciated.

Mac. I mention him quite a lot, but I’ve only seen him mentioned by others once or twice. An honorable mention is Champ the monkey. I used to have a plush of him.

There are other villagers I like, and my sister likes but these ones I don't see a lot of people are talking about.

Oh yeah, there have been a few I've had that I liked that I never see mentioned. But of all of them, I think for me, Coach takes the cake.

Freckles! She's one of my favorite villagers, but no one seems to mention liking OR disliking her. I love her so much! Others include Goose and Canberra.

I adore Freckles! She was one of my villagers on City Folk, and I had her for a time on New Leaf as well! Not sure why, but I actually liked her more on City Folk than I did on New Leaf. But her design and everything is so cute.

I adore that rabbit but she gets the short end of the stick given how many peppy rabbits there are.

Curly was my first villager, and even though I hate the jock persona, I could never get rid of Curly! I don’t understand the hate he gets— he is just a pink pig, and his design isn’t that bad. I think peopel are just offput by his eyes— they are a little ‘children of the corn.’ He is a very decent chap, though, and my next-door neighbor on my island. Wish more people gave him a chance.

I also want to mention poor Rhonda. I had her as an early villager for a little while, and she was honestly the sweetest villager I have ever had. Granted, I would never have selected her myself, and I ultimately did give her up for someone I really wanted, but she deserves a lot more cred than what she gets. I hate seeing her near the bottom on popularity polls. She’s the quiet but very kind goth girl who sits in the back of the class trying not to get noticed…

Biff and Savannah!

Biff was one of my starting villagers in NH and I thought I wouldn't like him, but he is one of my favorites now <3
and Savannah is so pretty, and a zebra, so I'm surprised I don;t see more people talking about her

I love Savannah. I find it hard to hate any of the normal villagers because they’re so nice.

Soleil. She's not the best hamster, because Flurry is the best hamster, obviously! And I don't see her getting any hate. But she feels criminally underrated for someone so aesthetically pleasing.

I like Biff, too! Though I prefer his New Leaf colors. And I have to confess the main reason I like him is because I changed his catchphrase to "McFly!" ^o^;>

I know only one other person who loves Gaston @oak. that stache seriously looks great on Gaston and makes him fit the cranky part; I personally think he is adorable.

Puddles! She gives me a different vibe in NH from NL but I’ll always love her for the memories in NL and appreciate her design (even though I hate pink lol).

Pudge - I love him! He looks super cute in the sailor hat and shirt and also with food in front of him. His name is cute too

Frobert and Drift! I love their colors. They both have a special place in my heart ever since I designed their houses in HHD.

Special mention goes to Frita: I love her design so much! I like how she looks like burger and fries .

There are a bunch more that I like, but I’ll post here later when I’m more awake since I should be sleeping now.

Oh wow, there are some really good under mentioned villagers here! Truly under appreciated gems!

love freckles, one of the best peppies! Mac is such a cutie and his woo woof’s give me life. Lopez is so underrated, even though he’s a great deer with a lovely house. Deena is so cute, one of my favorite normals, love how she looks so awkward and a bit lost. and Soleil is so pretty!! I don’t really like the snooty personality much, but how can Soleil not be wildly popular?! Her eyes, her coloring, she’s just one of the most aesthetically pleasing villagers in the game!

to me, a villager that just does not get mentioned enough at all is Maggie! She seems like she should be very popular - she has a simple design and she would fit perfectly in a farm/ country/ natural/ cottagecore themed island. She’s super cute, with a pretty color palette, and adorable expressions and reactions.

I belive she is disliked because she looks like a Karen.
Shes got the haircut and everything. Combine that with the snooty personality, and you can really see her demanding to see the manager.

Or at least that's why I dislike her.
I didnt notice it at first so thought she was okay.
But the moment it was pointed out to me, I could never unsee it. She went from being a C or B tier to an F in the blink of an eye lol
