Who is/are villager(s) you love that nobody seems to mention at all?

Cranston is my favorite but no one talks at him. I love how clean and simple his design is but he doesnt stand out compare to the other color Ostrich like Flora or Julia

Tank is one of my favorite jocks but the Rhinos tend to get ignored except for Merengue. In my mind he fits look the health and fitness jock more than the jock that only works out. I can totally see him doing mediation and yoga in his house.

I love Amelia but no one ever talks another the other female eagle Celia. She has a really sweet design and doesn't have a tiny model unlike the other popular normal villagers

I don't see much conversation about my lazy guys Spork and Derwin.There's a lot of good lazy villagers so they probably just get lost in the shuffle.

So happy to see love for Pudge and Puddles in this thread! They're some of my favorites that I've loved since they were in my very first AC town in Wild World.

Another villager I rarely see mentioned that I love (also from the same town) is Hopper! He's one of my favorite cranky villagers. I also think he he a pretty unique and cool design, especially since he's modelled after the rockhopper penguin.

to me, a villager that just does not get mentioned enough at all is Maggie! She seems like she should be very popular - she has a simple design and she would fit perfectly in a farm/ country/ natural/ cottagecore themed island. She’s super cute, with a pretty color palette, and adorable expressions and reactions.

I didn't even know Maggie existed! Lmao.

Ken the chicken and Marcie the Kangaroo are easily some of my favorite villagers and I feel like I don't see either of them mentioned often.

I belive she is disliked because she looks like a Karen.
Shes got the haircut and everything. Combine that with the snooty personality, and you can really see her demanding to see the manager.

Or at least that's why I dislike her.
I didnt notice it at first so thought she was okay.
But the moment it was pointed out to me, I could never unsee it. She went from being a C or B tier to an F in the blink of an eye lol

I've said it before and I'll say it again- Ursala is the best sisterly, hands down. She and Dobie were the favorite Amiibo cards I got (I have a handful of the RV ones) and, when I first joined this forum, I kind of assumed they were both super popular villagers of their personalities. Turns out, I was right about Dobie- he seems to be a top tier cranky for a lot of people. But I think I can count on one hand the number of Ursala fans I've seen! I just think she's so incredibly cute and fits her personality SO well. I also love Paula (probably obvious from my avatar, lol) and just the sisterly bears in general.

Also, Bonbon has one of the most unique, endearing designs of any villager but seems to be constantly overlooked for other peppies. Her eyes are just so different from any other villager's, and her crooked smile is just PERFECT!

Oh yeah, there have been a few I've had that I liked that I never see mentioned. But of all of them, I think for me, Coach takes the cake.

Coach is such a cutie! When I was pretty much forced to take him on my island (needed a jock, was down to, like, three NMTs) I was super grumpy about it. But I quickly fell in love! He was my jock for quite awhile and was awesome! I imagined him as a retired sports coach who had tried to retire to a peaceful island, but couldn't quite shake his coaching instincts.

Lol, I can kind see it, though to me she still looks more like a fashionable young lady.

Then again, I try not to judge by appearances in general. I know a literal Karen (as in, that's her name) complete with the haircut, sense of style, age group... but she couldn't be less of a "Karen", she's kind and silly and is much more likely to stand up for someone else than to ask to see a manager for some perceived slight, lol

I have always loved Ed he is my bestie but I have never seen anyone mention him at all before on these forums.

He is such a sweet little horse that has so much love to give and always loves to have a good chat, tell you his dreams and send you lovely poems he writes for you ​

These guys:

• His royal highness, the lion king, Elvis. I just really like the concept behind this character. And his scar makes him a lot cooler.
• Buzz, the buzzard. He's one of the lesser known eagle villagers, but he's a cool birb despite his basic design. I like his constantly angry face.
• Murphy, the green cranky cub. He's one of the cutest cranky villagers around. Also a huge deep voice and adorable face on a tiny guy.
• Ken, the ninja chicken. He's one of my earlier smugs from New Leaf and I really adore his theme and design. I don't like a lot of the chicken villager designs, but his is great.
• Agent S, the superhero squirrel. She's one of the underrated Peppy villagers, but I really like her because her design stood out the most.

So many great villagers that just go under the radar. Like they're not anyone's favorites (well, except mine), but they're also not hated or notorious for being "ugly."

Some off the top of my head are:
Puddles, always overshadowed by the likes of Lily.
Admiral, I've literally never seen ANYONE else with him, let alone mention him.
Miranda, or any of the snooty ducks for some reason.
Pompom, I mean come on!
Curly, like he's just a normal pig, what's not to like?
Not necessarily one of my favorites, but I recently had Cally and that was the first time I'd ever seen her.

The last goes on, but it's really sad how many villagers just go completely unnoticed. I STILL sometimes stumble across a villager I've never heard of before.

I just remembered Purrl exists... I had her briefly in Wild World and then never saw her again in any other game. I never hear any mention of her. I had to google her to make sure I wasn't making her up

Omg hello ☺ another Ed fan It's lovely to meet you I have had Ed in my New Leaf town since 2013 he was my day 1 and he never left. I have so many stories about me and ed in my town from all those years ago. When New Horizons was announced I went straight to ebay to find his amiibo card so I could have him on my island.

I just got Purrl the other day (I was looking for her), and I can confirm because she was not easy to find/adopt!

I've been doing a minor villager purge recently and I moved in Purrl.She is a sweetheart for sure.I've always loved her markings because I used to have a calico cat many years ago.

Also: More love is needed for Ken, Claude, Freckles and I'm also gonna say Sterling and Knox. I don't hear much about those two, though I've at least seen them in a few islands.

I have some! Ed & Pashmina (Well, last time I checked, nobody really spoke of Pashmina)

Pashmina is one of my favorites!


I tend to have a good mix of popular villagers and unknown/disliked villagers among my favorites. Though to be honest, I feel that most people these days don't really use those popularity tier lists anymore and just go with their own personal likes/dislikes. It really is more fun that way because everyone has a fun variety of villagers on their islands

I think I've seen only one other person like Cranston, and thats because of fan art they were requesting. I love the ostrich designs in general but Cranston is one of my favourites and one of my favourite lazies. Cranston's face looks like it has a giant heart ❤ He is also currently on my island and I'm in the process of getting his picture

Weber's been a fave of mine since the first game!

He's a cute, ditzy little brown duck.
I believe he was reintroduced into the series via the amiibo cards.

I have him living on my NH island.
He and Stitches are my fave "lazy" villagers.
