I'm at four so far, and just invited my fifth one after a number of island tours. As it stands now:

I'm fairly happy with the assortment so far. I had Canberra in my ACNL town and liked her (I know she's not popular, and she's not my favorite, but I like her well enough to keep her for now), and I like hippos (unlike a lot of people, apparently), so I'm happy with Biff. Aside from Canberra, all of my villagers are new to me, but I tried to go for species I either knew I liked or wanted to try out. I'm not entirely sure about Rhonda, but I like rhinos, and I got sick of going on island tours and meeting villagers I didn't like too much, so I decided to invite her to keep the story moving for now. At some point, I have a bunch of Amiibos I plan on moving in, but so far, there's no one I hate, at least. We'll see what happens with the campsite.

I have six right now: Katt & Hamlet, Poppy, Sherb, Flora, and Shep.

They are listed in the order they came in or I recruited them. Flora actually moved in before Poppy, but I recruited Poppy first. Shep was from my campsite and this is the first time I've ever really seen him! That is quite exciting.

I really think I have been super lucky with villagers this time. They are all basically adorable.

I got super lucky with the villagers I’ve gotten so far! I absolutely love all villagers *coughs* except Tammi... but I’m very close to having my town full of dreamies!!! these started in order of them moving in... but moved towards a random memory of their names. I’m trying to move out Bree and Keaton unfortunately to get Lucky and Tia in town and my villagers will be complete!
