I hope you succeed in not too long a time! I need him for my foresty/natural-town, and he is the only smug whose design is not too out there for that theme and whose design is like.

I really like Shep, Kyle, Kidd and Zell the best. I had Shep in new leaf and I loved him.
I'm still trying to decide which smug to have in new horizons.

Julian. It is so totally Julian.

I love Marshal (have him, love him), Raymond is an obvi, but Julian. Julian is just so perfect and everything you'd expect out of a smug, full of himself villagers!

As much as I dislike the Raymond "fanbase" And the constant flow of threads about him, his design is the best among the smugs.
Also voted for Lopez, he got a nice design too, other than that I don't particularly like the design of any other smugs.

My favorite Smug is Henry.
He's not popular at all but I grew very fond of him ever since I got him in NL.

I like Graham for his nerdy house, but that comes down to personal opinion.

So I'd say Kyle or Marshal.

im surprised marshal is winning, i think its a tbt thing for marshal to be so popular, i see people losing their minds over raymond on twitter but having no idea who marshal is. its weird

i'm basic and adore raymond, honestly i was pretty neutral on him at first, i preferred judy out of the new designs and wasn't even planning to have him on my "list" of villagers i wanted on my island, but i got super attached when i randomly found him on a nmt island and he moved in <3

Kidd is by far my favorite! But smug is also my favorite personality, so there are about six of them I'd keep if I could justify it haha
