Why can’t I add polls to previously created threads?

I can add a poll while I create a thread, but I noticed that I can?t add polls after the thread was made, not anymore. Has it always been like this, or was this change more recent? I was thinking about adding a poll to one of my newer threads, but I don?t see that option anymore. What happened?

I have seen the ability to, I think I did this about a month or two ago. I will check...

It worked for me when I added a poll after a post

If I'm not mistaken, I think you have about 15 minutes to add a poll to your thread before the option disappears or you get locked out.
