idk but i was "married" a while back. it was kind of weird so i stopped doing it.
basically it's when two close friends decide to pretend to be married. they're not really married. but i think some people who are married on here, are in a relationship irl i believe.

heheh yes.
it would get so carried away. They would get other members to rp as the kids. Grandkids, uncles etc. They forget about their real life and their real family leaves them, but they don't even notice cause they're too enthralled with the rp. One day when they're super old they turn away from the keyboard, realize they havent eaten in 68 years and starve to death.

The concept of this is if you are really close to a friend here (Or crazy to marry someone *cough* SUGARELLA) you two create a thread on the basement and then the other users (mostly friends of both users) shi!tposts ruins teh wedding

If I remember correctly, it was actually ApolloJustice (Emi) x Peanut Butter Fish, but then I crashed the wedding and became the fairest of them all, stealing away PBF after she revealed she never loved Emi (and ate him) XD
But yeah, I find weddings on the site are just funny and entertaining to watch, it's just a bit of fun after all. I know users find them annoying, even I do sometimes, but honestly I don't think it is poisoning the site at all. If you don't like them, just don't look at them I guess. I don't read through them or even notice them anymore. I was only in 2 or 3 of them when it first started, but it was very fun to interact with members of the site I don't usually talk to. Obviously no one is getting IRL married because of them (I don't think anyway) that would be crazy.

I think the whole marriage idea is a crazy and odd thing, but this is coming from a roleplayer so I can't say I'm the best judge x) I'm not saying marriage on this site is a bad thing though omg, it's actually interesting to see who's close with whom and it's just for fun so I try not to spoil any weddings or smth hehehe. Are there any IRL relationships here though? o:

I've never understood marriage on forums and in games. When I used to play Runescape and Maplestory, people would be "married." But they don't even know each other irl! And it's not like it's part of the game. It's not like they get any in-game benefits from doing it.
