Why is there so much clickbait/misinformation around healthy work out videos?

Trying to find a good exercise/workout routine is very difficult especially on youtube. There are videos like 'Gain a six pack within 5 minutes!' and other click bait nonsense.

I just want to find a good routine that targets all core muscle groups, while doing the techniques properly :S

Have you guys had this issue?

stuff like that exists in a lot of places around the internet but youtube is probably the worst of it, i wouldn't really use youtube as a primary fitness source. honestly i've found the best way outside of having a personal trainer is extensive googling on exercises for whatever area(s) you're interested in and constructing your own routine. personally if i find any information on a site that exudes that clickbaity hyper-masculine "big muscle hench swole testosterone grrr" kinda vibe i research it more.

utilize bodybuilding.com, ton of free information including workout plans. their forums are super helpful too.

its all about eating right and exercising consistently 5x/week minimum. working out and transforming your body is not an overnight thing. most start noticing changes ~6 month mark, theres no easy way around it but hard work and discipline!

Thank you I will check out the forum! I don't want to aim be bulky by any means but toned, An ideal body physic I'd be aiming for is like Bruce Lee's body.

I want to aim to do a routine when I wake up in the morning and before I go to bed everyday.

That's what I'm after discipline and routine :)

Fitness and health in general (in it's many forms) has become a commercial business. There are more companies and groups that do not value health/betterment- but rather the easy monetization of people seeking the goals they desire (whether it be the 'perfect body', confidence, a longer life, etc). Unfortunately, countless people fall into the trap of 'I want it now without effort'- so the people behind it all continue to rake in the cash, clicks, views.

But there are good people out there who truly wish to spread the joy of healthy living no matter the individual goals. The YouTube channel Fitness Blender seems pretty good. Just make sure you evaluate your body's current state and what it can handle safely! Good luck with your goals. :)
