Why make your font so small?

If someone uses a font that I find annoying (tiny, enormous or lightly-colored), I don't even bother reading their post.

I only do it for emphasis, like when I would say something in a "whisper" IRL. Like:
I totally didn't eat a whole tray of sushi today...
And if it's a SUPER secret I put in in one of the light fonts, but light enough that maybe people can kind of see it so they'll highlight it. Like:
Just kidding I ate a whole thing of mandarin fake chicken AND the whole tray of sushi, whoops.

People do it to be cute. (Or whatever this "kawaii" nonsense is...) I find it absolutely annoying to read and it is pure torture on the eyes. I try to read them because I am curious as to what people say, but I need to learn to stop reading these wretched posts as they could possibly make my eyesight worse. (Even at 20/20 vision, it is practically unreadable and hard to see.)

It's very visible to me. I do it not because I want to be kawaii, but it's presentable and it doesn't make me look like I'm copying taesaek. Don't worry! This is my new style (▰˘◡˘▰)

I don't really mind it, I can highlight it if it's too hard to read. It's a bit silly to me but w/e. people do what they want.
My user title is pink 'cause I liked it at the time, but I don't care. I'll probably get a color change whenever it's available though.

I don't mind if it's small like in my signature. Or like some others said, as sort of a whisper.
