According to Zelda World's info:

"Nintendo sent out an invite to members of the media tonight, inviting them to a private event on September 14th.

On the invite it reads

Zelda World? That's not a big site, also where did they get their source? Can I have a link from their source?

IGN purposely censored out the location of it...if it even is true.

Ok, well finaly some good news, 've been waiting for Twilight Princess for over a year now.

I didn't expect it to come out this early...it sounds like they're having high-end people come to an exibition or something...I don't think it'll come out until November, though. Nintendo released their last 3 systems then, and I don't see any reason for them to stop now.

No one knows the exact date, it's Sep 4, if on Sep 14 they doe release it, we have 10 days.

Okay, On September 14th, there will be a conference in both America and Japan and the 15th for Europe. It is open to media and EVERYONE is expecting the date to be revealed here. Just look at this excerpt from Matt's blog at IGN.

"GC 2006 wasn't exactly the huge Wii show that some had expected, but it did have some cool game announcements. That said, we're just getting started. Wii fans, this is going to be a huge month for you. I think the September 14 event -- now just two weeks away -- will be bigger than E3 for Wii lovers, and the coverage/news isn't likely to stop flowing after that. If we've been in something of a drought, rest assured that the storm is coming."

I certainly hope hes right!

Yar, I think he's right. He knows LOOOTS of inside stuff, that Matt. Therefore, I honestly expect lots of stuff at this secret conference.
