Wildlife Spotting (The Poliwags Cabin)

Going back to the "bearer" one, I was thinking, anyone here remember SpotPass and Nintendo Zones? When you got certain items from those in New Leaf, Pete would show up at your door to deliver them to you directly sometimes. I think he would also show up at your door if your mailbox got full. That would possibly be the bearer showing up irregularly.

SPOTPASS and NINTENDOZONE don't work. But it seems that probably we're looking for an image of a bear instead of inputting a code?

Just realized I was so close to understanding it myself - I put all the amiibo card #s together, but I failed to add the additional Isabelle cards in it!

And now back to the one which has so many meanings that I know for a fact I won't be getting anywhere near it.

Thank you so much for figuring out the code!!! you are truly amazing.

I have come up with a sorta awful plan to figure out clue #2. Everyone gets a staff member to look through all of their posts for the last year.. Of course this plan is no good is the answer is a puzzle or the wildlife is located on a non staff members post. I would totally be for having a sign up thread for it and everything.

Rally your fauna and flora! A gala of bucks and daisies. I’m lucky to have spot a robin and wild bunnies under a grand willow tree. Is a bell ringing? Round them up and let the chips fall where they may.

In case anyone is curious, I added up the amiibo card number of the following villagers, Fauna (19) + Flora (274) + Gala (265) + Buck (268) + Daisy (258) + Lucky (385) Robin (400) + Bunnie (87) + Willow (97) + All four Isabelle cards (1 + 113 + 215 + 301) + Chip (116) = 2799

Does anyone remember, back when we had mailboxes that could get full, what kind of notification we got when we tried to send a message to someone whose mailbox was full? Did an NPC appear?

wonder if the mods considered that clue #2 plausibly links to about 100 different things and isn't as obvious as they seem to think. i feel like #1 and #3 were significantly less vague/broad in comparison.

Wow, the puzzle was a complete opposite of the second clue by having all the information within itself. Now it's time to get back to the struggle...

I've seen it suggested a couple times, so do we want to try some strategic brute-forcing for #2? I'm pretty much out of ideas on where to go with that one, so I'm down to take a role and start scrolling if it comes down to it.

Honestly, I do think that's our best option, as we've gotten nowhere in the 2 days we've been on the 2nd clue. I'll grab the new info posted today and throw it into a big but concise post and we can use it to figure out where to look. The forums are big, but if we split up and each cover a different forum then we should be able to do it.
