Anyone have a good idea for a system for how to divide the work of hunting each individual post on the site?

I agree. Generally speaking I prefer to work smart as opposed to hard, but we’ve tried that! At this point the prompt it too vague with way too many solutions and places to look, unless we’re able to narrow our field of view we will never get there excluding by blind luck. Speaking purely personally: this has surpassed challenging and become infuriating, which quite frankly isn’t the point.

Like Merielle said, there are some people that just don't feel like they can work smart. Be it due to language barriers or not being good at puzzles or anything else. It's not fun or glamorous, but brute forcing is a way to ensure that every Poliwag is able to help. There's nothing saying the people who want to solve it "right" can't try, but this gives everyone something they can do.

I'm making a quick google doc with all the locations and people can post the threads they've checked in it. I'll give full edit permissions and post it when I'm done (but I'm not going to babysit the formatting so watch urselves lmao I tried to make it super simple, literally just hit enter in the checkbox areas and type what thread or page of small threads you're planning on searching and check it off when you're done)

I haven't been following this thread for the last little while because I'm busy today, but I just thought I'd add in case it hasn't been mentioned, I think it's probably guaranteed at this point that a) it's a clue not a puzzle, and b) it's a bear to click on.

Sorry if it's been mentioned/is obvious, I haven't had time to go through and look at all of the posts yet.
