The thing I immediately thought of was “bearer” as in bearer of gifts. I tried WISP but didn’t get anything. Maybe it’s not a puzzle after all. Are there any threads about Wisp or gift giving?

Do you think because Jeremy said that it wasn't working and we should recheck everywhere from the first hour, that perhaps it was supposed to be in one of those initial places? Maybe that's how they know it wasn't working.

Or maybe he was just being clear with his word choices, and it isn't.

Kapp'n bears us to various places in previous Animal Crossing games, and he appeared in the RV park if you scanned his amiibo, and he sometimes went to the Roost for coffee. But KAPPN, DOCK, AMIIBO, RV, THEROOST, ROOST, and CLUBTORTIMER were not the answers.

At this point, I'm hoping one of my trains of thought will give someone else the Eureka moment that we're looking for. ^o^;>

And in New Horizons, we have the Dodos instead of Kapp'n. And they're birds. Which we're not looking for.

it's abosulutely not relevant but items search and noticed there was a ? category. the pear and orange have this ? category, but not any of the other fruit.

If we're still on fruit, those star fragment trees in ACNH are trees that bear irregular fruit. Are there any threads about those?

I've tried HOLIDAY, KKSLIDER, SATURDAY, none worked. Was thinking maybe it was how KK comes every Saturday except for events and holidays?

On the regular bearer fruit path, when I looked that up I got mangoes. In new leaf you could only get mangoes by going to an tortimers island and possibly tours if you needed to.

Here's my thought process but it's a little out there so it's probably wrong.

"Regular Bearer," to me means like, bearer of bad news. My mind immediately goes to Resetti, an NPC on tbt that used to(?) give out infractions or warnings to people.

"If you know where to look" kind of sounds like it could mean, if you cheated in a previous easter hunt event, and you know where to look for the eggs or clues.

maybe resetti is the regular bearer, but he was in an irregular place? He's usually in people's DMs, but its possible the Resetti NPC on tbt posted in a thread once, which would be an irregular place? I haven't checked the Resetti account yet.

another note: I think we're mostly thinking of irregular appearance as "infrequent" but we should also consider thinking of irregular as "different." This is why I was thinking Discord! Maybe I will check Twitch too...

Irregular can also mean "without a pattern." For what that's worth.

Also, pandas look like bears, and this event is run by pandapples. Just made that connection in my head. It might be nothing, but it might be something!

Knowing where to look might involve one of the search functions on the site somehow? One of the search results screens, perhaps?

Based on previous egg hunts, off site hints are possible. IIRC there have been a few, but the one that comes to mind is an egg found on AC World a few years ago.

@Corrie You can search individual threads for posts made by specific individuals, which makes it easier to look for things like that. That said, I've been trying it, and haven't found anything yet. Though that doesn't mean there's nothing there to be found.

If it’s in a thread, it’s most likely recent. On Evergreen’s first riddle, theirs was in a thread but it was a very recent thread, only going back to June or July if I recall.
