I haven’t been keeping up with the announcements very thoroughly since I’ve been busy, so if someone could give me a rundown of how amiibo villagers will work in this game, I would so appreciate it.

Specifically, I want to know if there’s been any indication of the feature where if your town isn’t mostly amiibo villagers, amiibo villagers will never move out returning. Thanks!

I haven’t seen anything about it. As far as I know, we haven’t seen what amiibo do in New Horizons.

There haven’t been any indications of that yet. I am assuming that it will be like a similar system to New Leaf

nobody knows yet, unfortunately, but like peebraiin said, it’ll probably be pretty similar to how it worked in new leaf

I hope no villagers will move out until confirming with you first in some kind of manner.

At some point while playing New Leaf after a long time, it felt like the game was just doing nothing but constantly cycling villagers, and it made me very hesitant to want to even continue playing. I think it's nice that there are so many villagers, and I suppose the game just wanted to be sure you could experience many different ones, but at some point, it just gets too excessive. I certainly hope this aspect of the game will be different with AC:NH.
