Nah. Aside from the back of the actual Switch (I LOVE simplistic, supple patterns) I don't care too much for the look since it's very "island" themed?which makes perfect sense, but just isn't my favorite.
All in all, I'm glad I didn't wait for a special edition *shrug*
i'm in love with it. i literally have not bought a switch since they announced the console because i knew they'd eventually release another AC game with an AC switch and i wanted the ACNL ds soooo bad but i didn't get it. i meant to get one when they dropped online but some things happened and i didn't get to preorder so i'm really hoping i can get one either through restock or in store on march 13th ahhh. i love the colors. pastels are my fave. the design is so cute that backplate THE DOCKING STATION AHHHHHH leave me here
I like it a lot but I don’t think a ton of people will be buying it as their first Switch or anything; I pre-ordered the K.K. Slider pro-controller too, it was hard to resist and I’ve wanted another pro for some time.
I’ve had it preordered since the end of January. I don’t have a Switch of my own yet (been using a family member’s) so I’m very excited. Ironically, New Leaf was the reason I bought a 3DS. And, now that I think about it... I never bought a Wii U because there was no Animal Crossing. I play a lot of Nintendo games regularly, but I guess Animal Crossing is the one that makes me buy consoles!
I didn’t order one. While I like the joycons, and the Switch looks cool, I generally go for more generic consoles rather than special editions. With joycon drift being an issue, I also worried that the custom joycons would stop working right, and I might not be able to get them fixed (I might get standard joycons back instead, and that’s if I even wanted to go to the effort of shipping them to Nintendo).
Mainly, though, I’m having a hard time justifying getting a second Switch at present, and I’m happy with my existing one from 2017. At this point, I’ll probably hold out until a stronger Switch comes out (e.g., the rumored Pro).
Yes, and I have already pre ordered it. I’ve been waiting to buy a Switch just in case they released a special edition Animal Crossing one, and they did. So I’m getting it.
I already have a Switch. But, I will probably be wanting a second island, which means buying a second Switch.
I think the ACNH Switch is absolutely adorable! But I really don't look at the device as much as the screen, when I am playing. So I think what I will do instead, is buy a Switch Lite for $100 less and then spend the extra money on amiibo cards.
