Depends. The very first version is going for around $350 on ebay, but that's only for the first batch (mostly launch day), because later batches have a patch that prevents them from being hacked.

i already have a switch but really liked the idea of an animal crossing themed switch so i ordered some stickers off redbubble and made my own animal crossing switch. it cost me $12 bucks and now my laptop is also completely covered as well

Little PSA for those selling their switches: check if your switch has the old software version, you can type it's serial number into this site to find out. If it is unpatched (old version), it means it can be modded. Usually these can fetch up to $280, $300 on the secondhand market. Companies don't care about this though, you'd have to sell it yourself through ebay, Craigslist etc

My partner was able to snag one for me for Valentines Day! I didn't think I would get one because we also already own a Switch.

Yeah I have one pre-ordered. I have been waiting to get a switch when the new AC was announced a long time ago.

BTW I called my local Gamestop a couple of days after the AC Switch sold out of pre-orders. They said they WILL have more to sell at the release date, they only limited the number of pre-orders so they could have some to sell instead of nothing and people being upset (like there not already lol)

Now how true is this time will only tell, my suggestion is if you want a AC switch. Go to your local Gaming store and see if they have any extra on release day

I never bought a Switch, because I knew that one day we'd get animal crossing and I would want the AC design. So I just waited and saved up, and then when the pre-orders finally went up? I jumped on it! So I'll be getting that and it will be my only Switch console. I'll have a big backlog of games to get through now, which makes it even more exciting to finally get one!

I did not buy a switch already since I was awaiting a new animal crossing game plus a matching edition of the switch before i?d make that purchase. I got lucky to get gifted the animal crossing edition switch as a birthday gift from my fianc?. He preordered it for me a week or two ago and i?m super excited to unbox it and play it with him as a sort of birthday celebration.

I pre-ordered three hours after release from Best Buy! It wasn't a hard decision because I don't have a switch. I was one of those people waiting for Animal Crossing before buying one.

While cute, the design of the new Switch didn't do it for me. I would have jumped if the design was a little more classic AC.

I DO however want the new Coral pink Switch Lite! Fingers crossed it makes it to the US not too long after ACNH releases.
