Wine bottle openers: Need help identifying one for work!

I appreciate you helping! You're so very sweet ^_^ My drawing was probably just too confusing LOL. And I hope so too! The only way for me to learn the knife one is to keep using it while serving customers and that's just too embarrassing... I don't drink wine so I can't practice at home lol.

For funzies you could always host a wine party (you could serve others even if you don't drink yourself), or see if a friend wants the party at their place and you could be the wine server. Also! At a restaurant I bank they have wine training every month or so, where a wine seller comes by to show and let them practice opening wine bottles and having small taste tests so they can better describe the flavors of the wine to their customers. I betcha if you got cozy with the other restaurants in the area they'd let you go, too. At least in my experience, restaurant folks have always been happy to let me join them in these kind of things (maybe because I help them get their finances in order? idk)

If you live in the Colorado/Denver area, let me know in a PM. I'll help get you hooked up with something to practice. Or I can help you find a place to purchase your fancy opener.

Ooh, that's a good idea with the wine party!! I think that requires friends first though haha! I'll definitely see if my restaurant does these wine tasting things! ^_^ It's too bad I don't live in the Colorado/Denver area. It seems like it would be fun to do these wine parties with you! :p I would love, love, love if I could find a place to purchase it - do you know where? I'm completely hopeless when it comes to finding things haha. You truly are the best, ugh! Why are the best people so far away! <3

From what I've been seeing it looks like the only place you might be able to buy it is Amazon.

From my research it looks like there are too many extra fancier** (but not suitable for a restaurant setting...above service work rich b***ards messing up all the things) openers that have made this one obsolete. But if I find anything a little more helpful to you I will definitely let you know.

Omg duh, why don't you just order it from the Wine Enthusiast site? Seems like the most reliable option to me. Especially if you know this is the one you want. And so what if it's $20? If it's what works for you and makes you comfortable in front of your customers (and makes you more entertaining to them/makes you seem more professional to them) you'll get what you paid back and more. Don't cheap out on something that helps you do your job better.

I probably will end up buying it from them ^_^ The only reason I wanted to find a store was because I want to get it quickly since I have work on Monday. Ordering it online will take at least a week, or maybe even more! But if it comes to that, I'll buy it online and just borrow my coworkers' until it arrives :) Jeez, you are going above and beyond with helping me. Thank you <3
