Because it was chiefly your posts that got the ball rolling for me and made me decide to purchase a Nintendo 3DS XL from eBay. I also located and contacted the customer who bought one of my game consoles and an ACNL game cartridge. She had purchased it for her son as a Christmas present, but very kindly agreed to give the game back (free of charge) since her son wasn?t interested in the game!!
The game turned out to be the town HotDoggy with Mayor Lulubelle
I had really hoped it was Tubetown!! ... however since I had such good success recovering the one game disc, I have put in a request to the other buyer and have a tentative agreement that he will sell me back that one too - since he is across Canada in Ontario I will have to wait two weeks to find out
So that rather long winded explanation is why I awarded you the Blue Rose
I do still intend to buy the Switch and the new Animal Crossing game, but have learned my lesson ... not going to ever sell my DS and Game cartridges again!!

I am doing the giveaways for several reasons ... one reason being that I have been feeling very blue over the demise of my Mayor Penelope and towns (Tubetown, mainly, New Leaf Welcome Amiibo)

This contest was inspired by something unusual I did today .. (yep! Feeling old!)
I ironed and spray starched a Battenberg lace pillow sham which was my Mother?s ... (I was housebound due to a rare snowfall in our area and doing chores I seldom have time to do)

I know you're looking for some words of comforting but I think it's always better to hear words of empathy. 2 nights ago my girlfriend and I ended our 2 year relationship, and tonight my dog (14 years old) was taken to the vet. Apparently he's not doing so good, and I am up at college so I can't go along; so I am feeling blue, too. Its all hitting me now, strangely at the time you posted this thread! But I do know that there's always a light at the end of tunnel. I'm right here with you ♡ TBT loves you Penn

Aw, I remember that sad feeling when my sis pet goldfish passed on. I felt a lot of pain from my sis. It was sad but we had to move on. I know your dog, Lulu was a huge influence for you but remember, Lulu will love you too forever, even if he/she has passed on.

I was cleaning up my wardrobe as it was messy. Then I found my old school uniform when I was in primary school while i was cleaning up my wardrobe. not going to take a photo due to privacy reasons People wrote "Good luck in High School!" and things like that. I almost teared up.

yeah you should have thought about the consoles and think about the games on them first before you sold them. I would have just sold one console and keep the other one instead.

i havnt seen my friends in the philippines for quite a bit, and ive bumped into a roadblock with my college essays ;v;; I feel like im falling behind from my peers...

I also have my old 3ds and i know I think why you sold ur 3ds at that moment cause i have 1 ACNL game as well on it that i started in june of 2014, but I barely ever visit it now (maybe once a yr) and always am thinking maybe itll get better used with some1 else ;;; I am a bit posessive tho in a sense, and cant bear to make myself sell it but,,, i think i def understand u at that moment in time ;;; im so sorry abt ur 3ds, and am def hoping AC switch will help ;v;;

I'm blue with you...I'm sorry about your 3ds but at least AC switch is coming soon. That should ease some of the pain when it comes out. Sure you made many memories on your NL towns but soon you can make new ones on your switch town!Your villagers will never forget the moments you shared together so don't feel too blue. Everything happens for a reason so cheer up! I'm rooting for you!

I really am blue as well because dealing with lots of problems. For one thing my family members are fighting a lot and hurting one another. Another thing is I'm dealing with depression constantly and my mom's as well. My dad never gives us cards at the very least to celebrate with us and we never see him. Also blue because I don't have any friends and feel lonely. But you can't give up ever. For example even though I'm alone my dog is always by my side cheering for me. You have someone by your side like that too. I believe in you. Let's keep fighting!Even though there are sad moments in life there are still even the little moments in life even something simple as making someone laugh or a clear blue sky after a rainy day so never stop dreaming!I hope you feel better soon!

hang in there my friend! i've been fighting flu and fever the last few days and havent felt at my most creative (or my most anything, except feeling yucky), but my new box of tea had verse on it that i hadnt read in a long time:

these lines have been put to almost cliched use before, but reading them filled me with comfort. there will be new things to discover this year, i know it; new friendships, and new adventures of the mind. but if all else fails, sometimes a sit with a good cuppa tea and a book of favorite poems is all one needs, for a bit of comofrting distraction anyhow.
