Words or phrases people use incorrectly?

People say "jack of all trades" to mean they can do anything, but the longer form is "the jack of all trades is the master of none" and the even LONGER form is “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” So it's like... when I hear it I just want to be like SON HERE'S A HISTORY LESSON. But I don't.

A, gotcha. Yeah i don't see it too often thankfully enough but yeah to use it like that what the heck.

I guess it's not used incorrectly, just the grammar is abhorrent: I cringe every time someone says or writes "I seen". Blech.

"I can't be asked" i say it a lot and think its sounds better than the original "I can't be assed".

To me it means if even you asked me i still wouldn't do it lmao i literally "cant be asked" to do it.

ngl a lot of this thread is pissing me off since there are different regional dialects and variations on the english language so if you see people pronouncing "i'm" as "am" then thats more likely than not due to the fact thats where they grew up and thats how the word "i'm" is actually pronounced for them

for me, its when people say stuff like "ugh im so depressed!!!!" when their fave pencil breaks, or their team loses, etc.

I don't know if this was already said, but " you're, and your"
"there, their, they're"
