If you?re the newest or a newer employee you may last on the list for hours. My grocery store was unionized so they HAD to go by seniority, but lots of non union places do as well
I'm technically not the junior anymore. A while ago (idk how long excactly, a month?) a new girl was hired, so she's technically the junior now. However, she went to culinary school, she has more work experience then I do (this is actually my first job) and I'm pretttty sure she gets full time, cause one employee said that she need to leave when it's her time to leave cause she already had 3 hours overtime.
