Yep, i got another Wii Problem, and i might loose my animal crossing city folk save data--AGAIN! Right when im starting to turn useful again for the TBT, the Wii decides to mess up...

This time, though, ya know when ya look at an old-timey film reel and it has those ghost lines and blotches? Yea, it looks just about like that.... o_o;

I'll give pictures if you guys want, but i never heard of any game system doing this... ever....

It is on ALL of the screens, that includes gameplay... o_o;

And course, not only do i ship off the wii tomorrow, but i might, once again, loose my animal crossing info.

So i am apologizing ahead for animie1235 for not being a deliverer in her flower power event, and can openly suspend me until i get the Wii back--as well as the others i let down by promising that i would get the TBT back up to code.

It may just be the AV cables, hopefully. If not, then you've got a problem.
I would suggest buying a new set of the AV cables, and try that, if borrow them from someone if you can. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what to do.

It might have something to do with updates. Have you had a Wii System Update for a while? My friend had this problem. Then he did a system update, and it was fine again.

no it isnt the AV cables. I tested those myself.

I went and hooked up the DVD player the same way i had the Wii hooked up, and that rules out the TV and VCR of problems. So then i took my Wii and the AV cables to the GameCrazy i had Wii Sports Resort preordered at, and they checked it out.

The lines were even showing up in their TV. Fact, and i quote: "That is the damnedest thing i ever seen."

No joke. I'v been a loyal Nintendo fan for 20-21 years, and here this is the first system i ever had problems with. This system here was actuilly a replacement system from the last one that gave me problems. X_x

The first wii i had, disk problems. Froze the wii up and everything. So i turned that in, cos it was even freezing up on game cube games and VC games.

Then when i got it back after said repair--the thing lasted three days, and then the power was giving out.. not completely, but putting itself into standby mode. Then it still had the disk freezing issues, and what not... we then determined it could have been a fan problem, cos i felt no air coming from the Wii at all.

So Nintendo basically said screw it and sent me a whole new Wii. Now these lines have been at first minor about 2 days ago, but it was only one line, and i wasn't bothered, but now its scattered all over the screen.

Think about what it would be 10 days from now?

Right now im attempting to record the lines as james is playing on the wii, to show ya whats going on.

I was thinking more long the lines if she inherited my smart-alick mouth, she could give an honest answer and would end up being funny either way.
