Glad I went with the 3DS XL. I was between that and an art tablet/laptop sort of thing but none of those art devices looked the part as much.

I spent hours debating if it was a Nintendo 3DS, 3DS XL, New 2DS XL or New 3DS XL, finally chose the 3DS thinking I was wrong at the last moment and of course I was wrong... Glad it was still accepted though. I even had a moment of: "forget it, it's a makeup palette"

Ugh me too! I was so stressed about which one it was.

I was literally right there with you all about knowing what it was but not the specific! I was stumped between it being a normal DS/DSi/3DS/XL (totally forgot about the New 3DS lol!) and wanted to ask how specific we had to be, but I was afraid that kind of question would be a borderline hint so just took a shot. I was assuming Oblivia wouldn't be picky with the bottle and cap analogy (I took 'a bottle would be an acceptable answer' to mean we didn't have to guess if it was like a coke bottle or a water bottle kind of thing) so just went Nintendo DS because in the end they are all in the DS family.

Congrats to everyone who got it.

I vaguely remember that one year we had to guess if it was a soap bottle or a hand sanitizer bottle and I think the right answer was soap bottle. Not sure.

I mean, it was while Covid, so hand sanitizer made sense to me...

Since it looked big to me, it didn't even cross my mind about it being a 3ds. I knew that the stick thing had to be a stylus, so I went with tablet with stylus.

Hah, I stand corrected! I was simply naive since this is my first guess the present event here. Now I know better to stress and decuple guess my answers, not that I didn't already waffle about it for about half an hour before submitting. Thank you Oblivia for being kind in the first round and accepting anything from the DS line. (I don't have permission to view the link but I can imagine the chaos)

Also, I forgot to mention in my last post, thank you for being so generous as to gift us all a lovely new console, can't wait for mine to show up under the tree.

Sweet, I guessed the right model of 3DS and everything. I thought that a stylus that length meant it had to be an XL, not that it wound up mattering. ^o^;>

I also want to touch on something and clarify the rules regarding guess formatting. I saw a few guesses this last time that were essentially circumventing the one guess rule by including multiple items in the "your guess" field, so it would look something like a laptop/book/tablet/gaming device.

Turns out I'm horrible at guessing the scale of things, I would've never even considered a DS. The object just seemed way too big.
